Rocking chairs on aircraft
 
Just for a laugh:

"I would like to think that in the future airplanes would have rocking chairs for passengers to sit in. They could keep their feet pumping and reduce the risk of (deep vein thrombosis)," Vaananen said.
I'm not sure what future this gentleman plans to live in, but I don't think it's the same one that the rest of us expect!

Hmm, ok! :hmm:

Why don't we just put some pedals in there so we can all keep DVT at bay by pedaling the plane to it's destination. It would sure save on fuel! :p

flew down to Mexico with a Buddie I had worked with for twenty+ years .............. a few days later I had to fly his "Body" back to LHR ..... DVT .....

a real tough subject when your involved !!!!

Yes, very sad but to be honest it's always been an issue - just now more topical and a chance for a cash in selling those sock thingees - all the rage with the young-ones backpacking now.
