Initial Class 1 Medical CAA referral time
Hello All,
I had my initial class one with Aviation Medical Services near Gatwick last month and got sent away for extra tests due to a pre-existing condition. Having now had those tests and being given the all clear by the specialists it's now awaiting the CAAs approval. Does anyone have a recent ish figure for the turnaround times at the CAA? Particularly with Christmas coming up I'm worried this could drag on well into next year!

I've heard it's 4-6 weeks, but no personal experience of it. You'll probably want to add another week or two with Christmas, so I think there will be a bit of a wait...
