Exposure to radiation while on the job
"The National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements reports that among those U.S. workers exposed to radiation while on the job, flight crews get the largest annual effective dose. That’s not a good thing."...
Of course the article itself is specifically about high exposure to UV radiation, which I think for some time now has been regarded as not a good thing.........problem is try telling that to some people when you are slipping at places at high elevation and/or near the equator........

I note your pointing the thread in the direction of down-route behaviour, wiggy as you did with the one on cabin crew cancer rates. But this report relates specifically to high-altitude UV and the protection, or lack of, offered by aircraft windshields. Some pilots don't always wear sunglasses at altitude; they really should!
