Initial Class 1 medical

Hi
Any advice on initial UK Class 1 medical, earliest age, whereabouts etc would be much appreciated.
I guess this is the most sensible route to take before any flight training commences.
Thanks.

The CAA website is a pretty accurate place to start

But banter aside doing the Medical before stepping towards an aircraft is a very sensible decision.
