Class 1 Renewal cost

I have just been quoted around £200 for the renewal of a class 1. No ECG, no audiogram. Only the basic medical and haemoglobin test. Just out of interest how much do people usually have to pay for this? (It will be my first renewal since visiting Gatwick hence the reason I don’t know!)
Cheers,
Quarto

This is what I found on the website of the AME I use. £200 without ECG and/or Audiogram sounds a bit dear to me.

Professional Pilot Medical (Class 1) - Renewal £115.00
Professional Pilot Medical (Class 1) - ECG £60.00
Professional Pilot Medical (Class 1) - Audiogram £35.00
Professional Pilot Medical (Class 1) - Lipid profile £22.00

I just payed €120 recently. The £200 you have been quoted sounds a bit excessive. Best advice is to shop around.

The Irish Aeromedical centre in the Mater hospital quotes thus:

Renewal €199
Initial €574
Renewal + Audio + ENT €314
Renewal + ECG €234
Extended Ophthalmology €100
ECG €35
Audio €35
Chest XRAY and report €40
Spirometry €35
Cholesterol and lipid profile/bloods €20
ENT Exam €80
Extended Colour Vision/Lantern test and report €100

My next renewal will include the 'Extended Opthalmology' which adds €100 to the cost but still only amounts to £208. The basic renewal is only £138.

It seems you are being robbed.
