I have two digital clocks I set them to identical time a couple of months ago one is running seven seconds slow now, or the other is seven seconds fast.

even the most mindless banality is infinitly more interesting that cricket.
Not at all Drapes, mindless banality is exactly that.....you have to think about Cricket.:8

Singaporegirl - no, I didn't go by London Underground. If I had done, it would have been vaguely relevant to other posts on this thread, and we can't be having that, can we?

Talking of which, there's some bloke I don't recognise talking about Europe on Sky TV at the moment.

It is raining here a lot. And I don't have a map of the London underground in my diary.

IFTB 5th Jun 2003 22:18

No tea, it's raining and the cups are still outside from the previous break.

tony draper 5th Jun 2003 22:19

Why don't you folks just purchase that excelent book, Janes Underground Maps of the world, you could write your appointments in th margins.

It's 15:08hrs (BST) on Thursday 5th June in the year 2003. I'm sitting at my desk at work staring at a screen reading really really boring and totaly pointless snippets of information on a website called Pprune run by a top lad from Scouse land. I had lunch an hour ago and it is now 15:0908hrs (BST) on Thursday 5th June in the year 2003. My cup of tea, which incidently has one sugar in it, is slowly going cold on my desk and I think I'm getting a headache due to staring at this screen reading really really boring and totaly pointless snippets of information on a website called Pprune run by a top lad from Scouse land. By the way it is now 15:10hrs (BST) on Thursday 5th June in the year 2003.

This thread just jumped to 4 pages as I was watching! How exciting - maybe I could get into cricket too after all.

Stop watering them then Mr Woo. Should sort the buggas out.

Ozzy 5th Jun 2003 22:26

My morning tea was nice and hot but is finished. The bagle and cream cheese was nice, bagel was toasted and was wheat. Early morning here, birds a singing, dogs are crapping all over the fcuking kitchen as usual, everyone else in bed...

One of my cats has just pooed on the flat roof.

I don't want a map of the London Underground, or any other underground, Jane's or not.

Chaffers 5th Jun 2003 22:29

I have used 17 staples to secure 2 sheets of paper to my desk divider whotsit.

CR2 5th Jun 2003 22:30

How the heck did the cat manage to do that ? :hmm:

iainpoll 5th Jun 2003 22:30

The best underground I have used is in Santiago, Chile. The wheels use tyres, so its very quiet. Apart from that it's crap..

tony draper 5th Jun 2003 22:37

Flat roofs are not good, witchdoctor, they tend to leak more than the sloped ones.

Rugz 5th Jun 2003 22:38

Aren't leeks from Wales...

soidog 5th Jun 2003 22:39

JET BLAST AT ITS BEST!! Must be one of the best threads ever......

Parapunter 5th Jun 2003 22:40

Has anyone seen the London Underground map from my diary? It fell out, sodding thing.

I also have a slight headache as a result of drinking lager last night in a pub that had nice terracotta walls.

IFTB 5th Jun 2003 22:42

And if you muliply that by 3 you get 1452783. But he does not believe it. :(
