Very neatly sidestepped, Hempy.:ok::D

I'm starting to think that you are a Political staffer; And not a Liberal Party one either.

Ovation 10th Apr 2016 23:32

Pinky - it took you a while to work that out.:)

Ethel the Aardvark 11th Apr 2016 09:10

I think the pinkster must have slow internet now he has moved to NZ.;)
However I think a Royal Commision into the banks a definite vote winner. the Libs will have to be careful how they play this one.

I'm not exactly sure what it is that I'm supposed to have sidestepped. Parabellum comes on here bleating how fuel has gone up 22 cpl in a day, and then blames the Opposition for not marching/rioting about it.

I would have thought the Government might be a better place to aim any complaints, after all they're running the shop.

As for you 'staffer' comments.

I see the tinfoil hat is firmly in place. So typical of the right to look for a 'conspiracy' when encountering someone who doesn't join their circle jerk. I'm tipping that I've voted Lib/Ind more times than you've voted Labor, despite the disparity in age.

Yeah, I know.:O Probably not enough good Red lately.:D

Quite possibly so, as I have never voted Labor. As for the 'conspiracy' bit; I can honestly state that I didn't even think such a thing, let alone consider it.

BTW, I don't believe in 'conspiracies.'

Hempy 11th Apr 2016 11:34

Maybe not, but you should go in to politics. You have a wonderful way of stating a 'fact', then disengaging from what you've written, and then disassociating yourself from what you've previously posted.

I'm not a 'staffer' by any stretch, but you seem to be in a quandry. Who are you going to vote for next election? Nationals and Barnaby Joyce or Libs and Malcolm Turnbull?

It seems that your way of 'politics' is going pear shaped the world over. In kind words, let me tell you that your 'demographic' is in the minority.

It sucks to be on the losing end of it, but get used to it. You're dying out.

You sure you're not confusing me with someone else?

If not, could you please show a few examples of where I have done that which you allege?

I'd really like to know!

Hempy 13th Apr 2016 16:46

Do you really want me to quote you?

Given that most of what you post is gibberish, I'm happy to oblige.

(quick, get on the 'delete post' tool)

MTOW 13th Apr 2016 22:54

Trying to get the thread binned, are we Hempy?

Pinky the pilot 14th Apr 2016 01:05

Hempy; I genuinely do not know to what you are referring!

Do you really want me to quote you?
Please do.

Charlie Foxtrot India 14th Apr 2016 04:28

Take your personal bickering to private message please.

bosnich71 14th Apr 2016 05:23

Hempy is probably not a staffer, a moderator perhaps, but he definitely is someone who gets a great deal of pleasure from stirring people up on various threads.,
Perhaps there would be less bickering if he were the one who is given a "rest" rather than those who are subjected to his continuous drivel.
Oh dear, I've gone and done it again, stated the obvious. Perhaps I will be the one rested,again....or banned maybe.

Charlie Foxtrot India 14th Apr 2016 05:47

People will get rested and banned if they want to take personal swipes at other posters

Flying Binghi 17th Apr 2016 11:42

Ah, yes. "Continuity and Change" The muppet caint even dream up his own slogans...:hmm:

Next he will be channeling long dead Queen Victoria and telling us we should be building more of the 18th century's best technology - Railways...

A quarter of his supporters gone in a few short months...:)

Looks like a DD election is on the way.

France and Germany have an escalating islamic problem within their borders. Why were countries that will have major civil strife looming in the near future ever even considered as a submarine supplier to Australia ?...:hmm:

On eyre 21st Apr 2016 04:18

And the answer is probably because there is no correlation between having "an islamic problem" and having expertise in submarine design and manufacture !!

Half of all available French troops are now deployed on internal security, guarding transport hubs, nuclear power plants, tourist spots and synagogues.
It is putting a big strain on training, leave and availability for traditional deployments and rotations.

bosnich71 21st Apr 2016 05:53

Siti ... I think that the Australian Army are either already guarding such assets or are planning to do so in the near future.

The most likely combat situations Oz troops will see in the future will likely be with an islamic lead/influenced group/country. It would be highly likely that islamic groups in France or Germany will seek to interfer with and possibly stop submarine delivery and later with parts and maintenance supply. It would be achieved through terrorism or even the ballot box. One only needs to look at the influence Australia's relativity far smaller islamic community has over our pea brained labor politicians for an example of the looming European disintegration.

Japan is one of Australia's closest allies and a country with major interests in our part of the world. We would be far better served closely aligning our US styled militaries and enhancing each others military production capabilities.
