Indignation in 5..4..3..2....

I16 30th Aug 2015 11:08

20 year old daughter strolled through the living room tonight saying " don't give up tomorrow, just suck it up Dyson "

Ethel the Aardvark 30th Aug 2015 11:10

Straight into it captain hastie, he has claimed that he felt labor did not have his back when overseas. He hasn't even been elected and he is blaming the last labor gov, gloves off now me thinks

megan 30th Aug 2015 13:28

Mike Kelly on ABC 666 didn't take kindly to his comment
Would you really, really expect the ABC to say anything else?

Hempy 30th Aug 2015 13:32

..1. Liftoff!

Know exactly the feeling, 1966/7 Aden, Southern Yemen, Harold Wilson was the PM and we trusted him as much you would a rabid snake, not a nice feeling. Given the function of the SAS even more reason to doubt the support of a Rudd/Gillard/Rudd government.

Ethel the Aardvark 30th Aug 2015 13:52

Lucky the armed forces have ms Lambie to look after their backs - this current shambles of a government offered only a 2% pay rise .

bosnich71 30th Aug 2015 14:39

Hempish...taking 'personal potshots'? Coming from you that's a bit rich.

RJM 30th Aug 2015 15:04

Ms Lambie, the soldier's friend, has yet to support Capt Hastie (late ADF). I'm not sure whether it's because he's Liberal, was an officer, or just that she doesn't fancy him.

Know the feeling as well Para. Unions refused to man the ships supplying us in Vietnam. Taken over by the Navy. Buggers did the same in WWII refusing to load ships in Cairns with supplies for the New Guinea troops. Wharves taken over by the Army. Refused to man ships supplying troops in the Malaysian insurgency, same same troops in Korea during that conflict. I think I see a trend here.

megan 30th Aug 2015 20:41

megan you're a bit slowwwwwwwwww
Never ever claimed to being the sharpest knife in the draw. :p No mention I've seen of him being ex SAS. Army legal department is all I can find.

Ethel
How much did Rudd/Gillard/Smith cut from the Defence Budget when they had the chance; empty promises of White Papers, new submarines, new equipment etc notwithstanding?

There were about 2500 people attending Cdre Kaefer's final ADFA Graduation Ceremony a couple of years back. Given the reception he received, I doubt there were many labor voters present.

Again, link please...

Now that Dyson is staying on, will the bleating continue, with the possibility of prosecution for critics of the Commission.

Or do they continue to the High Court, where the risk of a finding against the complainants will do more harm to the labor movement that anything Dyson can do.

bosnich71 31st Aug 2015 09:24

Take a look at your previous posts.

Hempy 31st Aug 2015 11:31

I know what I've written. I asked you to provide links knowing full well that you can't. On more than one occasion. I post something that you can't refute, so with veins popping in your forehead you devolve into playing the man instead of the ball. A common right-wing trait I might add.

Long on bluster but short on substance, no wonder you are an Abbott apologist. You, and others here who often lower themselves to attack individual posters for lack of a credible, legitimate response, are all cut from the same cloth. It's like watching 13 year old boys in the playground...'Am not, you are!' :yuk:
