Our `Big Brother" or Cousins as you refer to them have not currently got a clue about what is happening and what to do about it.

Vlad has his well & truly got his measure and understands how neutered the current status of the USA is: Review what has been happening in Europe over recent times.

Some of our cousings do understand what is happening but are hamstrung by commmunity organiser leadership.

Its called no spine at the top. Yes most of the top know whats happening, they just don't want to do whats needed to nip it in the butt.

chuboy 16th Nov 2014 04:01

What's this? No glowing endorsements of Tony's address to the top dogs from far and wide at the G20 Leader's Summit yesterday?

I for one was proud to be represented by someone with the gall to complain about annoyances of petty domestic politics to some of the world's most important political leaders :ugh:

Hempy 16th Nov 2014 04:34

I recommend that anyone who suggests that Tony Abbott has an ounce of anything 'statesmanlike' in his persona should watch this

I'm sorry, but he has just demonstrated to the world that he is a pompous, patronising, inept and incompetent little man...

Menzies would be turning in his grave.

mikedreamer787 16th Nov 2014 04:39

Bob Menzies wouldnt've even bothered to turn up let alone address a miserable bunch of useless turds like that.

He'd probably have a few incising words to Putin in his office though...

Hempy 16th Nov 2014 04:55

Really Mike, what a throwaway, silly thing to say. Are you seriously suggesting that if Menzies was in power in 2014 and;

- Axel Kicillof, Minister of Economy. Argentina.

- Dilma Rousseff, President. Brazil

- Stephen Harper, Prime Minister. Canada.

- Xi Jinping, President. China.

- François Hollande, President. France.

- Angela Merkel, Chancellor. Germany.

- Narendra Modi, Prime Minister. India.

- Joko Widodo, President. Indonesia.

- Matteo Renzi, Prime Minister. Italy.

- Shinzō Abe, Prime Minister. Japan.

- Enrique Peña Nieto, President. Mexico.

- Vladimir Putin, President. Russia.

- Salman, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia

- Jacob Zuma, President. South Africa.

- Park Geun-hye, President. South Korea.

- Ahmet Davutoğlu, Prime Minister. Turkey.

- David Cameron, Prime Minister. United Kingdom.

- Barack Obama, President. United States of America.

- Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council

- Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission

all turned up in Brisbane at the one time, that he wouldn't 'bother' with them?

Garbage. He probably would have presented one of the great speeches of his career..

Unlike the current idiot

mikedreamer787 16th Nov 2014 05:05

I'm a child of the Menzies era Mr Hempy. World politicians back then had a bit more backbone and balls than that lot, crooks though some of them were.

Ok so maybe he would've made a speech. But the most brilliant of his career? I seriously doubt he would've bothered to take the time compiling one for this lot - although I admit my opinion is quite subjective.

Hempy 16th Nov 2014 05:12

Well I prefer to think that HE was a statesman, and given the current shlt state of the world I think that he would have used the opportunity to try and put some sort of sense in their heads, and showcase his own impressive self in a humble fashion at the same time. Again, unlike the current idiot.

But that's just my opinion.

Dark Knight 16th Nov 2014 05:30

However the `supposed" alternative Prime Minister, when asked, stated he had `nothing to say"?

Hempy 16th Nov 2014 06:31

That's interesting Dark Knight. I hear in Chile a bull got loose on a main highway » Bull loose on Santiago highway provokes legend-dairy response

prospector 16th Nov 2014 07:04

Mr Menzies would very likely have waited until Don Key was included in your list

Hempy 16th Nov 2014 07:44

He any relation to Y.B Ayphlogg?

rh200 16th Nov 2014 08:43

Bob Menzies wouldnt've even bothered to turn up let alone address a miserable bunch of useless turds like that.
My thoughts where along those lines as well. Its the G20, a stupid talk fest that the average Joh Bloh couldn't give a sh!t about.

Pinky the pilot 16th Nov 2014 09:37

I noted with a certain interest that the ALPBC TV News here in South Australia gave a reasonable coverage of the proceedings re the general business of the G20 conference.

I also noted that the report also covered quite well the protest from a certain 'Indigenous' group when it came to burning the Australian flag and effigies of a few prominent Aboriginal identities.!:ugh:

Can anyone tell me just what these flag burners/radicals/whatever they care to call themselves are actually trying to do, other than really piss off the (majority of) Australians who are not 'indigenous*'?

* I use that word with reservation.:hmm:

Who knows who cares, but it makes sense to them. That said we live in a free society and have a right to protest. In this case it appears they have followed the rules reasonably well, so respect.

On the protest front it was very subdued for a G20, a job well done to all those involved including the protesters, and I'm sure the weather helped:p

I see you've seemed to have addressed that 'their' issue we had there. Admittedly they're hard to get your head around early in your language development. I'll help you out with this one.

we're.
1. contraction of we are.

where. adverb
1. in or at what place?

were. verb
1. a 2nd person singular pt. indicative, plural past indicative, and past subjunctive of be.

An interesting perspective.

I said that, really?

You would be amazed at how much third party correcting and writing assistance you can get for various reasons. No surprise considering the amount of money we have in foreign students doing postgraduate studies.

Have you completely familerised yourself with the requirements and technicalities of having a PhD conferred yet?

p.s. I know the difference between various there's, I'm just too lazy to go though it, I think the term care factor zero comes to mind.:p

bosnich71 16th Nov 2014 22:38

Junior ... don't worry it's just the Left. They like to hate, it gives them a purpose in their miserable lives.
