Our `Big Brother" or Cousins as you refer to them have not currently got a clue about what is happening and what to do about it.

I'm a child of the Menzies era Mr Hempy. World politicians back then had a bit more backbone and balls than that lot, crooks though some of them were.

Ok so maybe he would've made a speech. But the most brilliant of his career? I seriously doubt he would've bothered to take the time compiling one for this lot - although I admit my opinion is quite subjective.

Well I prefer to think that HE was a statesman, and given the current shlt state of the world I think that he would have used the opportunity to try and put some sort of sense in their heads, and showcase his own impressive self in a humble fashion at the same time. Again, unlike the current idiot.

My thoughts where along those lines as well. Its the G20, a stupid talk fest that the average Joh Bloh couldn't give a sh!t about.

I noted with a certain interest that the ALPBC TV News here in South Australia gave a reasonable coverage of the proceedings re the general business of the G20 conference.

I also noted that the report also covered quite well the protest from a certain 'Indigenous' group when it came to burning the Australian flag and effigies of a few prominent Aboriginal identities.!:ugh:

Can anyone tell me just what these flag burners/radicals/whatever they care to call themselves are actually trying to do, other than really piss off the (majority of) Australians who are not 'indigenous*'? :confused:

Who knows who cares, but it makes sense to them. That said we live in a free society and have a right to protest. In this case it appears they have followed the rules reasonably well, so respect.

On the protest front it was very subdued for a G20, a job well done to all those involved including the protesters, and I'm sure the weather helped:p
