So, lets hope Juliar quits politics with immediate effect & causes an earlier election...last twist of the knife Kevvy!

sisemen 26th Jun 2013 10:12

So, they ditched the witch. At least we won't get any more misandry. And..........McTernan will have to go :ok:

(I try to look for a silver lining in every cloud)

Worrals in the wilds 26th Jun 2013 10:12

Wish I may, wish I might
Have this I wish tonight
Are you satisfied?
Dig for gold, dig for fame
You dig to make your name
Are you pacified?

All the wants you waste
All the things you've chased
Then it all crashes down
And you break your crown
And you point your finger
But there's no one around
Just want one thing
Just to play the king
But the castle's crumbled
And you're left with just a name

Where's your crown, King Nothing?

Off ya go, Kevvy. Lead us to the promised land...:bored:

I'm watching the footy. :}

Weeeelllll!!!
Gotta look at the positives. Hopefully Garrett, Smith, Wong, Conroy and Swan will be flicked off the planet. :ok: The departure of Oakeshott and Windsor will hardly be mourned I think.
As much as I detest Krudd's smarmy and condescending demeanour, I am heartened by the fact that we will hear less of Julya's nasal whining. Interesting to see if she is true to her word and resigns from parliament. :hmm: Given her almost complete lack of ability to tell the truth, I'm not holding my breath.

SOPS 26th Jun 2013 10:43

CSD, looks like some of your wishes are coming true. Swan and others have already resigned, I would think more to follow. And as much as I wanted her to win and face the music in September, I too am very happy that we won't have to listen to that voice anymore. (Not that Rudd is much better)

RJM 26th Jun 2013 10:55

Unfortunately, Wong is a winner. The sanctimonious little dyke has been made leader of the government in the Senate.

It's a pity that gender distorts politics, esp Labor politics where the appearance at least of PC is so important. Gillard's seat of Werriwa will go not to the best local preselectee of either gender but to an out of towner, Ged Kearney, a female ACTU boss who's 'paid her dues' and has been waiting for her safe seat to come along.

Speaking of gender, the ABC's Leigh Sales is already beginning to construct the narrative that their Julia was brought down by subtle misogynism at every turn.

SOPS 26th Jun 2013 11:07

Craig Emmerson has just announced he is quitting politics altogether. The blood bath continues.

Ken Borough 26th Jun 2013 11:14

Gillard's seat of Werriwa
Since when did Julia Gillard come from NSW? I think her seat is Lalor in Victoria.

Such brilliant and well informed debate. I think not.:ugh::ugh:

SOPS 26th Jun 2013 11:31

Garrett just announced he is going as well.

Clare Prop 26th Jun 2013 11:56

Talking of Garrett...

Wasn't so long ago that he was prancing around as Rudd's "Captain's Pick"

Lets hope he does a "Blues Brothers" and gets the band back together

500N 26th Jun 2013 12:02

Well, looks like I am going to be having a new MP
since I live in Lalor.

Clare Prop 26th Jun 2013 12:11

I see Kevin is wearing a blue tie.

SOPS 26th Jun 2013 12:17

The question is Clare, can he knit? Thinking about that, will Mr 457 visa man be looking for another job in the morning?

Huh RJM??...member for Lalor not Werriwa???? I might be wrong....off to check....if you're wong I hope you're wrong about Wong too!!!

At least we get to see the back of Swanny!! :) :ok::D....

....And come September we may be graced with a coalition treasurer who knows how to really well & truly f*ck up the economy, ...

..and then claim previous government fault / High Oz $ / Low Oz $ / Whatever other excuse the MSM may allow him/her to get away with

It is really all so predictable isn't it??? Well everything aside from Labors insistence on self destruction, and teh milky bar kids stupidity on taking the role

BTW, how's all the conspiracy stories on how Julia is being investigated for this and that....surely it must all come to fruition soon???

500N 26th Jun 2013 12:47

Flieg

Gillard's Electorate is Lalor. She is my local MP.

RJM 26th Jun 2013 12:54

I'm sorry to have caused problems with the name of the ex-PM Gillard's electorate, which is, as any idiot knows, Lalor.

But, it's in Synnot St, Werribbee, which I happen to know quite well, and that's the problem - Werribee, Werriwah.

Anyway, more hot news fron An Insider:

The count took so long was because the first count was 51-51, so they went to four rounds of rock paper and scissors. This result was 2 all so it was decided that the two candidates would face off with a fire building contest.

Unfortunately for Gillard she never achieved her campfire building badge in Brownies.

Fliegenmong 26th Jun 2013 12:55

Not that I'm on 'Facial notepad' but an interesting post from a friend who's birthday it was, posted on Mrs Fliegs 'site' (?) "Didn't realise it was my choice on a Birthday, the answer was Turnbull.....just saying.....

Fliegenmong 26th Jun 2013 12:57

Did 'Sky' tell you that as well?? :O:ok::rolleyes::ugh:

Fliegenmong 26th Jun 2013 12:59

You should always believe SKY and the Murdochracy

dat581 26th Jun 2013 13:09

Just like you should always believe the ABC?:hmm:
