"I'm Alan Jones" :D |
In Leftwingland, I'm assuming that's supposed to be high comedy, Sven?
Droll, very droll... not. I see the High Court is doing its best to ensure that we all get our fair share of Tamil Tigers living in a suburb near you. From today's 'Australian. Court blow to ASIO asylum veto LAUREN WILSON THE High Court has ruled that the denial of a protection visa to a Sri Lankan man because Australia's spy agency declared him a security threat was unlawful. Oh, we're doing that already, aren't we? |
(Here's a bit of aviation content.) Qantas, after one of their flights diverted into Darwin, was unable to find hotel accommodation for most of the passengers.
Could that be, as I suspect, because all of the hotels are filled with non=paying "guests" from Christmas Island? |
Could this be Labor's problem witn their staff? The true believers certainly spread it like wildfire via social media every chance they get and they seem to find it all roolly funny, but most other people I know find it all pretty cringeworthy. And thanks, guys :ok:. |
Mate, they aren't non paying. Not by any stretch of the imagination. You and I are paying my friend..........:(
|
As Bernard Keane observed today "That Abbott has been forced to resort today to using his wife in a kind of “some of my best friends are women” campaign is testimony to what sort of toxic feedback the Liberals must be getting about Abbott’s political style from female voters."
Roast News Update : Oct 5, 2012 |
You're correct Seven. It is having an impact. Even though it's the biggest load of bollocks.
Have a look at the opinion polls published today in The Australian. They prove that Gillard's got more of a problem with men. As has been said innumerable times on here - do the drip, drip, drip act and eventually it soaks into the psyche of the average voter. Will it make a difference? Who knows. It acted against the ALP in Queensland big time and I think that the same effect will happen here. Anyway with the Liar holding out until either the last moment or until she feels she might be in with a chance there's always time for the ALP to pull out yet another one (or more) cock ups which are the hallmark of their administration. So, at the end of the day, smart alec comments from the true believers ain't going to affect the price of fish. You lot are going to be out on your ear. Give our regards to Red/Ned/lobe and all the other manifestations. |
Could this perhaps explain female voters perception of Abbott?
Or this? Of course not - far easier to dismiss it all as inconsequential and blame it all on the handbag hit-squad. There's that good old Liberal misogyny - again! Wonder what Margie thinks of the way her sensitive weepy Tony performs at his day job.:ugh: |
Yeah, but the "guests" in Darwin aren't paying. As you say. PM. we are...
And Sven, go for it mate. Keep it up. Drip, drip, drip with the Big Lie. But the only way it's going to work for you and Labor is if the dead rise and vote in their thousands come election day. Which, if they did, wouldn't surprise me in the least. |
Sven
Thanks for coming along and reminding me why I've swung away from labor during the life of these threads. :ok: Now about that great, unanswered question....................................:E Does it bother anyone else that an incumbent government is relying on trashing the opposition, rather than a record of competent government, to drive its re-election chances? |
As Abbot commented recently, Gillards guvninmint is behaving like an evicted tenant; trashing the joint so nobody else will be able to live in it afterwards..

Severe desperation setting in I see, better we just ignore the highly illustrated, irrelevant and out of context ravings of the Parsnip/Grey/Sven conglomerate, complete with their support staff. We must concentrate on the facts, Abbott has the ALP running scared, Gillard will resort to the lowest levels to cling on to her job, albeit a job she is incapable of. Soldier on Ladies and Gents, ignore the Trolls and keep this thread open.

Soldier on Ladies and Gents, ignore the Trolls and keep this thread open. But for your benefit here are some unillustrated, relevant hard economic facts. US unemployment, 7.8%. Canadian unemployment, 7.4%, Australian unemployment, 5.1% Perhaps you could address them? |
Perhaps the new boy, Sven/Red/Lobe?whatever could explain (words of one syllable would do if he's having problems with long words) just what the f*** pictures of Tony Abbott photographed alongside SOMEONE ELSE'S PLACARDS have any bearing on what Tony Abbott's personal views are.
Talk about dross and paucity of ideas... they deserve to lose if that's all they can come up with. As they say - they must be sh*t scared if that's all they've got in their armoury. |
And Sven, go for it mate. Keep it up. Drip, drip, drip with the Big Lie. Is that not a direct personal attack? |
I remain amazed at how vitriolic the supporters of the left can get in such a short space of time.
|
The Abbott's had a $710k mortgage in 2010. Google "Abbott $710,000" & u will see Daily Telegraph story on it.
Mortgage rates now down 2% :D Margie Abbott's must be absolutely thrilled with level of interest rates now: saving $14k a year compared with interest rates when her husband and the Libs were last running the show. Many thousands of other Australian families wil not fail to have noticed just who are the better economic managers. :ok: |
|
Is that really the best that you can do Seven? Is that the instruction from Sussex St - go for personal attacks and it doesn't matter how low you have to stoop?
|
Please don't misuse apostrophes! :ugh::ugh:
