"Gods Cop"....bye bye
Politics and Religion are an unhealthy mix at the best of times, but tend to be global.
Policing and Religion even more so, but tends to be more localised.
Enter the former Chief Constable of Manchester. I'm sure there will be many on here who will applaud his stance, and toxic views, as being just what UK society and policing needs.
Obviously, I'm not one of them.
What the extensive obit doesn't mention is the actions of his officers at the time. As a collective effort to alienate themselves from the public, they did a pretty good job...not forgetting them happily demonstrating the performance of the Capri at the slightest opportunity .
Apparently, he was well thought of, and supported by, the unlamented deceased....so now they can have cosy chats together....wherever they may be.

KnC,
Somehow this reminds me of an alleged epitaph:
Mary Ann has gone to rest
She is curled up on Abraham's chest
Which maybe fine for Mary Ann
But sure is nuts for Abraham.

KnC,
I'm far too right wing generally to agree with you, but this is one topic where we are both 'singing from the same hymn book'. Personally, I
question whether or not the extreme right wing views of Stalker really fit with Christianity.....but that's just my opinion...
