And I now realise that I was deeply offended, on behalf of others, natch, when reading those military history books about WWII operations using baby submarines, except that they weren't called that.
I think we are all due an apology, as well as a promise that lessons will be learned. From and by whom, you ask; well, Winston Churchill, for a start, he can't evade responsibility just by being dead. He is known to have used that word in connection with submarines, although not with people, so his guilt is plain to see. That statue must go, of course, now that it's quite legal to pull them down.

I never liked the MG Midget. But one of the engines from a dead Midget - 1275 - worked very well as an upgrade to the 948 that I had transferred in to my '54 Moggie. But don't ask about the drive shaft.
