So you are on an oxygen generator, What is the last thing you should ever do... try lighting a cigarette and qualifying for the Darwin Awards

Pennsylvania man died after trying to light a cigarette while using an oxygen generator at his home in North Coventry Township, according to police.
Officers responded to a home on Mt. Zion Avenue at 8:14 a.m. on Friday, June 17, the North Coventry Township Police Department said in a release.
The man was actively using the oxygen generator when he tried to light the cigarette — breathing in through a tube running from the machine to his nostrils — and this sparked an “oxygen induced flame” that burned him, police said.
First responders performed CPR on the man and he was taken by ambulance to a hospital.
He later died from his injuries, according to police.
While oxygen itself is not flammable, it does act as an accelerant, helping fires grow larger and spread faster, according to the National Fire Protection Association. More oxygen also allows things to catch on fire at a lower temperature, including human hair and skin.

Well, Frisbees are important:

A man died searching for Frisbees in a lake at a disc golf course where people are warned by signs to beware of alligators, police in Florida have said.
The unidentified man was looking for flying discs in the water and “a gator was involved”, the Largo police department said in an email on Tuesday.
The man who died was 47 years old, the Florida fish and wildlife conservation commission said in an email. The commission said a contracted specialist was working to remove an alligator from the lake “and efforts will be made to determine if it was involved in this situation”.
The park’s website notes that patrons can “discover the sport of disc golf on a course set in the natural beauty of this park”. The course is set along the lake, which has no-swimming signs posted along it.
People who frequent the disc course said it was not unusual for someone to look for lost discs that could be sold for a few dollars.

Apparently a sink hole has opened up under a road in Beckenham and some local Darwin-wannabe tried to jump it on his motorbike. Sadly, he survived the crash more or less unscathed.

An Australian politician who was the subject of allegations of various improper actions complained about the "allegators". I believe he was a country member.

A politician crossed an alligator with a parrot.
The parrot said "Polly want a cracker", and when he offered it to the parrot, it bit his arm off, and said "Who's a naughty boy then?"

I was not at all impressed by alligator when I tried it in a Florida restaurant. Rubber chicken with very bland taste. Might be all right if curried. Quite possibly the alligator would say something similar if it ate me!.
