I will continue to say Ladies and Gentlemen and Sir and Madam when addressing paying customers. From my company’s and from my experience it is what those with the money to pay for a premium seat want. Out of touch managers who are virtue signalling and Human Resources departments (who are usually clueless about the company they work for and just follow other HR trends) can do what they want.
Why pander to a very, very small minority?

I have no problem with others identifying as something else, and I respect that. Now could they respect that I wish to identify as a male and be addressed appropriately.
Isn't that the basis for all this fuss, the desire for people to be addressed as they identify?

I thought the comment by one of the contributors on the link had the issue sorted.
To avoid any confusion, page 3 of the new BA flight attendant's manual instructs to refer to customers using the new universal pronoun, "She-He-It" said very rapidly so that it blends together to sound like a single syllable word

- This issue raised its ugly head in our technical education system, where I was on a course advisory committee, more than twenty years ago. Some numpty went through all the Statistics notes and changed "Students T" (a statistical test) to "Learners T".
See and avoid

Bretbart News is not my go to source of information.
Did you read the whistleblowers testimony that said that Facebook knew that news or comments that made people angry got the most views, hence was the best for ad revenue?
It’s the equivalent of click bait, or, “If it bleeds, it leads.”
They don’t care if it is true, they just want as many people as possible to read it so that they can sell more ads.
Do you want more people ticked off at cabin crew because they get worked up about cabin announcements???
This seems like a good approach to provoke some.
