Mnemonics and other ways to remember things.

What did you use to memorize the monarchs? I learned the Willie, Willie, Harry, Ste way.

For those of us who fly we all have little memory aides that we have accumulated over the years and I imagine those in other fields have theirs--I know the medical professionals have quite a kitbag of them.

Some are easy like divorced, beheaded, died and the like, while others are quite tricky. Some are vulgar and some are childlike.

Anything noteworthy that you have used?

ARROW
A – Airworthiness Certificate

R – Registration

R – Radio Station License (not required in the U.S.)

O – Pilot Operating Handbook (specifically the Operating Limitations)

W – Weight and Balance

What you better have onboard if the FAA inspects your plane.

Every Good Boy Deserves Favor

The notes on the lines of the treble clef”

I had just enough musical training to know this mnemonic, but far from enough to put it to good use...

Oh, and "Aka Satana Ha Maya Ra Wa, N". = Red Satan is an illusion, yes. (For learning the Japanese Kana alphabet).

BraSs and BronZe - one contains tin (Sn) and the other Zinc (Zn) - just have to remember the letters in the words are the opposite way to the constituents - well, it works for me.

Way back when, one of the first things we were taught as astronomy students was how to remember the classification of stars - O, B, A, F, G, K, M - "Oh Be A Fine Girl, Kiss Me". Obviously a bit sexist, but it did stick in my head.

All the rest have 31.
Except February alone which has 28 days clear.
And 29 in leap year.

I know there are variations on the theme
