7500 - Amazon Prime
Just wondered if anyone else had watched this and thoughts? Looking for something mildly entertaining and distracting the other night and came across 7500. Didn’t expect much but actually found it very, very good. Relative in the aviation business tells me the preflight checks, lingo and procedures are surprisingly accurate for a drama. The trailer makes it look a bit naff but the suspense and moral dilemma of the FO made it great viewing.

Not a bad movie really considering it’s completely shot within the flight deck. Not bad in terms of Airbus accuracy either

Yes, I watched it last week. It wasn't too bad, although I found myself telling the FO not to open the door. Just concentrate on the flying and get it on the ground. But I guess the film needed the drama!

It takes ~1h35m from Tegel to CDG, then ~0h55m to divert back to Hannover - The film is 1h26m long!!! Thats a lot of flying in circles!!! (Given that Luftwaffe Eurofighters engaged, he can't have reached the FIR boundary by ~1h05m!)
Tegel - Hannover is only 0h40m, so the Eurofighters engagement is therefore plausible, but still lots of circling!!!
Timeline aside, I found it thoroughly absorbing as a former ground-based Opsie, but can see it absolutely horrifying as a future holiday maker!!!!
