She said it was "like domestic terrorism"
Nah!...Not at all!, she's mistaking recurring US civil unrest with real "Domestic Terrorism", ...this is when a US citizen decides to open fire on hundreds of innocents in a field watching a music show...in an act of terrorism
Stephen Paddock...Mandalay Bay...innocents subject to sheer terror....terrorism....homegrown...something not right there!!

From the United States Department of Justice official website https://www.justice.gov/archives/jm/...ee-strikes-law
It provides for mandatory life imprisonment for a separate serious violent felony after separate prior confirmed convictions for either (a) two other serious violent felonies or (b) one separate violent felony and one serious drug offense, with the priviso that the 2nd and 3rd offenses must each have been performed after each prior conviction. That is NOT a general "3 strikes" law of the kind which has brought the concept into disrepute.
It does also talk about a mandatory life sentence for a second child sex offence, but that's a "two strikes" or "first bite" rulew which is a different thing as well.

Have you read what 18 U.S.C. § 3559(c) actually says?

Be patient. There is a long list of dismantling and destruction priorities in order to turn the US in Haiti or Zimbabwe.
Any museum pieces, monuments, facilities, written, recorded and oral history of the Apollo moon landing program will be destroyed or banned first along with forced submission of anyone involved with it. The knowledge was only possible due to slave labor.
I'm still humming "White Christmas" until it's banned within months.

The first weekend in Jun, in Chicago, 73 people were shot. 23 of them died.
No police involved shootings.
Barely made the news didn't it?
Because it wasn't all that unusual.
You can work out the usual suspects.

The US Constitution has something to say about treason:
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.
The rest of your rant is irrational ...

I will be satisfied if the Confederate military and civilian leaders' statues are all removed, one way or another. The people being "honored" long after the Civil War committed treason against the United States. They committed the crime of betraying one's country.

President Lincoln himself in 1863 identified a list of top Confederate generals that included such iconic figures as Robert E. Lee and Joseph E. Johnston who deserved to be imprisoned for treason.
Ironically, the lenient approach allowed Robert E. Lee and other Confederate leaders to become heroic figures to later generations of Americans of all sections, citing words written by Union Gen. George Thomas in 1868: “The crime of treason might be covered with a counterfeit varnish of patriotism, so that the precipitators of the rebellion might go down in history hand-in-hand with the defenders of the (US) Government.”
General George Thomas was correct...

If I still have to explain all this to you, then I'm afraid you havent understood what this movement is all about and if you're not part of the solution then you are probably part of the problem.

just for falling asleep in your car in a Wendys drive-thru
I’m not giving the cop a freebie, but mentality like yours is why those willing to meet in the middle and find a solution are foiled.

Nobody gave a crap about 99% of the Confederate statues or any other questionable person. They are a place for pigeons to sit.
Perhaps you could dig up the bodies of Washington, Jefferson and Adams and place them on trial for treason and maybe some slavery charges.
There is a reason why the US came together in the century after the war, with it's warts of course, and did not descend into an endless vicious cycle like the Hutus and Tutsis did. Yes, there is a reason why the good citizens of West Virginia and Ohio haven't hacked 500,000 of themselves to death. They do have pigeon poop rests and play with archaic flags. It's because they didn't choose revenge.
Find another country to suit your needs.

Childish vendettas will set us back forever and have us at each others throats with blood feuds like some hill top Albanian village.

Northerners took a pragmatic approach to the war’s end. They realized the impracticality of trying thousands of Southerners for disloyalty in states where juries were unlikely to deliver guilty verdicts, and that continued cries of treason would interfere with the more important task of nation-building.

Indeed, Whatsa... The problem now is that we have a whole crowd who, unable or unwilling to address the issues of today, prefer to revisit the past. In this case they are upset that the descendants of the losers of a war that ended 155 years ago are not appropriately repentant.
I'm still mad that the Earls of Warwick and Salisbury couldn't make up their minds which side they wanted to fight for. Makes the whole Crown thereafter illegitimate.

Therein lies the problem, the inability to see the real problem. A guy who was just sleeping doesn't fire a potentially fatal weapon at a cop.

Let me make you laugh and learn at the same time. At least someone didnt die like he would have in the US with the same potentially fatal weapon.

We don’t have to keep believing half-baked and corrupting ideas from the past. Or be slaves to them.

Are you asserting a taser only has one shot? I know the answer to that as well.

SOME tasers have only one shot. Seems this one had two. So what? Did Rayshard Brooks deserve to die for that? Let me hear your answer to that. Did the man in the video I posted deserve to die? Always surprised me how conservatives are quite prepared to kill people (death penalty, police shootings, etc) while arguing they are "pro life" with regards to abortion.
