Eh? And exactly how did they know it was a weapon inside the vehicle? Superman vision? Forcibly?
Fair enough, you live in a different reality to us here.

Good to see that Trumpophobia contnues unabated around here.

Gonna be even sweeter when he is re-elected. Better lay in your supplies of anti-depressants, which will be in short supply come November 4 (or whenever).

It will not bother me, as I do not live there, and given your countries addiction to antidepressants and opioids I think your needs are greater than the rest of us. However hopefully (if he does get back in as you would like) he will fulfill his promise, and pull all your assets back to the US and stay there. I do not think the Free world is interested in the values propagated by this man. What I do not want to hear, or see if that drawbridge is pulled up, is various quotes like "protecting American interest" for "overseas adventures", you have a large country with plenty of resources and low population density, I suggest you stay in it for a while, and try and mend what is patently broken from recent events, and then when you have proved you can be trusted to play nicely, the rest of the world may let you of the naughty step.

Kind regards
Mr Mac

But arms WERE present inside the vehicle, Ancient Mariner:there was a knife on the drivers floor that the suspect was reaching into. And the officer had already tried unsuccessfully to effect an arrest using a taser. Even if there hadnít been a knife (whether or not the officer saw it at the point he opened fire) was he supposed to just let him drive away? What would the police have told the victim if he had sexually assaulted someone (again!) ?

Trump Is Turning America Into a Pariah State.
If the Democrats win the vote and Trump continues his predeliction for refusing to accept facts that don't fit in his strange little world, then nation states around the world will have either to rethink their relationship with a failed democracy, if America looks economicaly strong then it's deep social failings will be brushed aside as they are with China for the sake of trade.
But if it shows signs of weakening financialy then have no doubt, the rest of the world will throw it under a bus

No, the police will run you over instead. So many pedestrians were endangered by these officers.

I don't have anything more than a hunch that Trump will carry the battleground states but I admit that a mere hunch from this distance is pretty thin gruel when it comes to making a well founded prediction. I will look at the link you provided.

I just fear that the Democrats will find the goal, unfortunately their own,, unattended and somehow put the ball into the back of the net.....
I certainly don't discount the possibility that the Dems can still snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Which is why I won't offer odds better than 50/50, while the "pundits' " and bookies' odds are higher for Biden. But I think they learned from 2016, and are more focused on not screwing up this time around.

Obgraham - you are correct about the House/President details in case of a tie. However the Senate picks the VP under similar rules. What will be interesting is if the new Senate is also split 50/50 (and whether candidate Pence could break that tie by voting for himself, prior to Jan 20.) This year, that is more of a possibility than usual.

But in any event, the Senate could only choose between Harris and Pence ("two highest vote totals") barring unforeseen events, so Nancy is out of the picture in any case. And a tie in the EC is substantially less likely than filling an inside straight, even in these divided times. However, 2020 could certainly be one for the Civics textbooks!

And you think that went down well with the powers to be? In the US they would have how many bullets in their back?
Keep on Googling, you just might find something better.

OK, shoot to kill. What do I care, I am not visiting your country any more.

Whether it was commended or otherwise, doesnít matter. Norwegian police acted in a fashion that endangered civilians and the bad guys. I admit it, US law enforcement needs to change. Welcome to the club AM, so do yours.

I might add that a tropical storm or hurricane hitting FL or NC (the other States at risk are less in play) on Election Day would really put the icing on the 2020 cake - the season runs through Nov.

Are you at the level of hoping for natural calamities to swing the election?

Boy, you really are paranoid!

I mentioned the possibility of an event - I have no idea which way it might swing things, if it did at all.

Did you see your boy the other night on the final RNC night. When he came down the stairs he was dragging his leg and holding onto the bannister and his cuckold wife for dear life. Biden looks positively spritely in comparison.

Of course. He had to pee. But he'd just finished a 70 minute telePrompTer session.
Your pal did 25 minutes in the basement and didn't have to worry if the dribbles showed.

They're both geezers, no denying that.
