It would be nice to actually see some places before the pollution picks up again and ruins everything.

I'm getting close to that now... Bought some clippers a few years ago but never had the nerve to try them.

This might sound sad, but go sit in a draughty shed, peer out of a slot and photograph birds, strange how I miss it so much, but its so relaxing..

Take the first non-government cruise I planned for this year - next year if there is anything that floats still left operating.

Go dangle my tootsies in some cool water sitting at the end of my Aunt's dock with a line in the water and a cooler full of beer at my side watching the takeoffs from 00 just over the treeline, usually headed for the high arctic.

Go for a walk through the bush in the hope of photographing some birds, insects, fungus, animals...

Actually, I'm allowed to do this now, but thanks to a bad knee, I don't want to take the risk. It's improving thanks to the physio, but I don't want to have to be pulled out by a helicopter rescue.

Just to be able to socially interact with people rather than teleconference, also get a hair cut, and plan some very expensive long haul treats for my long suffering wife, who has done everything and more for both her company and for me and her family through all of this, and puts up with me travelling for my own work in these difficult times when I am sure she would love me to be at home to give her a hug.
Cheers
Mr Mac

Why on earth is that not allowed now - sounds like the ideal lockdown pastime. You are hardly infecting lots of people.

I just want to do some normal shit that I took for granted before - a nice sunday lunch at a pub in the country, a coffee sat outside a cafe in London watching the world go by.

Sadly because the hides I use are public spaces and my favourite ones nearby at a National Trust property are shut at the moment. the other ones I use have also been closed off.
This time of year I would have been looking forward to going to watch the birds soaring at Bempton Cliffs, but that is now a no no with distances involved etc.... Sigh. lets hope we get back to some sort of resemblence of normality before June then I can watch the nest building... It's a heck of a place to visit if your mid country, google it, to see huge seabirds soaring past you feet away using the cliff thermals should be on everyones bucket list.

Land a lovely, yummy, 'Yellow Humpy' dry fly right on the nose of a cruising trout.

More than anything I will just enjoy being able to go somewhere else rather than stay around my home locality.

Beautiful pictures Nutloose. It is amazing how much louder the birds seem now.
