That's cool!
Looked kind of windy that day. The jet ( and its pilot) handled it well.

I saw one fly at MCAS El Toro back in the '70's.
I'll never forget the sight and sound of it.
After it made a couple passes it turned away from the crowd, pulled back on the stick and climbed out of sight.
The ground shook.
I have some 8mm of it up in the attic somewhere.

Lovely bit of kit, but I bet it doesn't make the ground shake in a climb like the original.

Nothing like the real thing - that exhaust is way too clean

Other than that - simply fantastic!

My first ever detachment was at 280 SU, out at the end of the Gata peninsular, Akrotiri, doing trials work on an S259 radar in early 1974. Lightnings would sometimes pull into a near-vertical climb after take off, pretty much dead overhead where we were trying to work, and were pretty impressive, but the dark shadow as a Vulcan went overhead, with that earth-shaking deep rumble, was usually what got me to go outside the cabin to watch.

I don't own this space under my name. I should have leased it while I still could

We used to worry the Workers building FerryBridge power station. They asked use to avoid flying below them.
