This is plain daft, as anyone can buy CBD oil freely, with no restrictions at all, AFAICS. For example, it's openly sold here, in a UK online store: https://www.cbd-oil-store.co.uk/

Must be the EU's fault. These rules always are.

Victoria Atkins MP for Horncastle and Louth and ardent speaker against legalisation of drugs yet her husband who is ceo of British Sugar grows 48 acres of Cannabis for export to other (more sensible) countries. Corrupt to the core the whole lot of them.

Just to be clear, we're not actually talking about cannabis in the sense of the stuff that gets people high, but hemp that is grown for the CBD oil, which doesn't get people high at all, as it doesn't contain significant levels of THC. The hemp cultivar that this farm is growing is one that produces high levels of CBD, but negligible levels of THC.

I'm currently trying CBD as an alternative to conventional pain medication. I'm not 100% convinced of it's efficacy yet, but I can confirm that it has absolutely no noticeable psychoactive effect. So far I'd say that the psychoactive effect of taking a couple of over-the-counter strength co-codamol tablets is significantly greater than taking a few drops of CBD oil.

I know the difference, I was just pointing at another part of our corrupt government. Hemp is a magical plant and can be used to make tons of things and would save cutting down all the forests, but of course there are wood barons amongst the leaders and they call the shots.

Nope he doesn't and Cannabis sold is for medical drug use without the "high" effect.

MD of British Sugar was appointed to that role by ABF the owners of it. MP was appointed to that role by Prime Minister and doesn't get involved on discussions on Cannabis and hasn't for a couple of years.

We have a full size poodle. From time to time she gets into a funk where she can't settle down, paces around and doesn't eat. Normally, she takes two to three days to get back to normal. One of the CBD oil products here in the US is made for dogs or cats to calm them down. We bought a bottle and at the first sign of a funk, gave her a half eye dropper full of the liquid. She was back to normal the same day the funk started. We have given it to her three times now over a 3-4 month period and it has worked each time. She's happy and we are happy with the results!

But does she sit down listening to music with a silly grin on her face and get the munchies? 😎

Some people think that government is the solution. When really it is usually the problem.

If anyone is interested into why hemp was declared illegal in the first place and also the staggering amount of products it can be used for then a read of this will be a bit of an eye opener. Did you know it used to be illegal NOT to grow it.

Last spring I thought to act a bit green and tried to find myself a shirt out of hemp. No luck or actually no practical luck, prices were ridiculous and styles hippy. So back to hibernation.
