Carrefour D-Day anniversary bag

A rather disappointing deliberate (?) omission to say the least.

Every French schoolboy knows that the British expeditionary force is still in France, safely encamped and waiting, like an Oriflamme, for the clarion call to lead it to victory.
That being so, there was no need for Carrefour to show a Golden British invasion force on its carrier bags for that force is already on French soil, armed with Marks and Spencer life time plastic bags.
