Spice Girls concert "ruined by sound"

The headline from a number of newspapers:-

Spice Girls concert "ruined by sound".

I really don't think I've ever read a more honest headline!

I'd say that any concert could have been ruined by that same sound - there's only one of the group who can actually sing!

Their voices did betray the sound IMHO

Exactly. Ruined by lack of talent.

Sound management.

Their issue was with the sound engineers, before the concert they should have told them what they want, what they really really want!

Talent equivalence

Talent equivalence

4 x Spice Girls ≡ 1 x Justin Bieber ≡ 0.001 x Levon Helm

The reason most music acts do these 'getting the band back together' tours is because they're short of cash.

Which may be why Posh declined, she doesn't need the money.

It's rare that the performances are anything like they were years before, mostly they're just going through the motions.

One exception to that was Pink Floyd.

Willie Nile wasnt going through the motions at the Borderline last Friday...but it was a slightly different demographic. A heady mix of beer, weed and napthalene.

The previous concert was at Croke Park? Would suit McCartney then...

I thought all these TV acts just lip-sync their concerts. It would be half your luck if they did considering they can't even nail it in the studio.

Yes, for many of those that can't nail it in the studio because they can't actually sing there are software processors like Autotune and Melodyne.
