How do you know that these scammers are Indian?

They're definitely not Indian.

I know because one called last week and told me his name was Michael Smith.

I’m pretty sure. Particularly as MY Talktalk details were one of those that were passed on by employees at Wipro plus the accent is a bit of a giveaway.

I actually got a CEO at TT to admit mine were among those that were the most compromised. But, despite this confession, I was told that because “ it wasn’t actually TT that took your money” they refused to assist in helping me retrieve it. I managed to get the funds back myself, no thanks to them. They have not been my internet provider for nearly two years but I still get calls from India trying to scam me. Ironically, today my landline registered an international call, Indian code, but I wasn’t in the mood to take the p!§§ as I usually do.

Wipro. They made our previous off-shore IT/Finance/HR support company look very good.

Indian Air Force

I was intrigued to learn recently that the IAF is the world’s 4th largest. Guess that in view of the antiquity of much of their fleet it is probably rather lower than number 4 in terms of capability.

In comparison

Pakistan is no 7 and the UK no 23. This on a count of fixed wing aircraft with combat capability to be found here: https://www.nationmaster.com/country...ombat-aircraft

When you have that much territory and length of border, and two neighbours in Pakistan and China with which you have ongoing border disputes and, relatively, recent wars, it would seem necessary.
