You'd be surprised. There are hundreds of gigging bands around at the moment. I've seen more live bands over the past couple of years than I have since I was in my twenties. You just need to know where to look..

Daughter turned up today with the DVD and decided we would have a family viewing this afternoon. Really, really enjoyed it as much second time around and being able to watch Rami Malik’s performance knowing he subsequently won the best actor Oscar. Great fun to be able to sit as family and all sing a long very loudly in the privacy of our living room too!

Yes, we enjoyed it too. I imagine the two/three remaining band members very tightly controlled what was shown, but nonetheless a very enjoyable feel good film.

Live Aid weekend was truly memorable, was displaying at Fairford at an early RIAT, great airshow despite a funding crisis in Strike Command reduced the UK aerial component, excellent evening party in front of a huge screen; we all knew something very special happened during Queen's set.
