Similar to the Nigerian explosion above, except that itís suspected that thieves deliberately ruptured the pipeline. The death toll is currently at 66. Story here.

From The Jakarta Post :Two motorcycle riders, identified as Arif and Sigit, died after being hit by commuter trains on the Bogor to Jakarta commuter line at the Rawa Geni crossing in Depok, West Java, on Friday afternoon.Arif and Sigit, who were riding on a motorcycle together, were traveling from Jl. Raya Citayam to Rawa Geni. As they approached the railway crossing, the gate was down barring motorists from crossing over. However, the two went passed the gate by ducking their heads, Insp. Joko of the Depok Police traffic accident unit said.“As they approached the Rawa Geni railway crossing, they crossed the gate and were run over by trains coming in opposite directions,” he said on Friday as reported by kompas.com.It is not clear who was driving the motorbike and who was the passenger. Moreover, Joko said the two victims were run over by the train travelling from Bogor to Jakarta and were then hit again by another train heading to Bogor from Jakarta. The two victims were knocked away while the motorcycle was dragged for up to 100 meters.

The victims were taken to their respective family homes to be buried.

ĎBikini hiker' who climbed mountains in barely-there swimwear freezes to death

Wu Chi-yun, 36, set out on a solo hike on January 11 in Taiwan's Yushan National Park before being found dead by a search and rescue party

The 36-year-old made a distress call to a friend using her satellite phone on January 19, revealing she had stumbled more than 20 metres down a ravine. Wu said she was trapped at the bottom and unable to move due to the injuries sustained during the fall.

The island's National Airborne Service Corps said it attempted to dispatch Black Hawk rescue helicopters to her location on three separate occasions, but the flights were ultimately grounded due to poor weather conditions. It finally decided to send in two search and rescue parties comprising three members each.

They found Wu's body at the location of her distress beacon 28 hours later.

Double homicide? Wasn't it a duel where they both lost?

If the object of a duel is to kill your opponent, then they both won.

Or both lost. Kind of like the "Half full/Half empty" glass of water argument
