There are not a vigilante mob, more like a neighbourhood watch as they have as yet not taken any action against anybody.

As suitably lurid and histrionic opening paragraphs go, this one was clearly composed by an aspiring Mail reporter currently employed on a rag that is, not unsurprisingly, free.

No matter, let's move on to your own risble supportive contribution here and why, being unable to distinguish fact from fiction it seems......do you seriously think, that, if a "400 strong vigilante mob " had been seen ambulating around Birmingham, this would not have attracted the attention of the wider media ?.

There again, when it comes down to police antagonism, on JB, the police can rival the BBC for condemnation so you may have found the perfect target audience.

KnC - the moment someone used the "Mail" argument, I know they have nothing of value to add to the conversation.

Heaven forbid that we should compare any other journalism to that of the Mail ?

Using the Mail as a comparator seems to me to be perfectly reasonable. After all, the Metro is owned by ....wait for it... The Daily Mail!
