Of course, we will hear the old 'Anti-Zionism not Anti-Semitic' rubbish but nobody actually believes that. It just provides a convenient get-out clause for the reality that has probably always been there and now the genie has well and truly been let out of the bottle.
If someone is against Zionism but is not actually anti-semitic, how would you suggest they could display their anti-Zionism without being accused of being anti-semitic?

Nige321 - I'm afraid you owe me a new keyboard!! Coffee everywhere after such a ringing endorsement of someone who may shamble into office to lead the country into post EU isolation!! ... Sorry, but at least Boris can get his shoes on in the right order.
There are no accompanying emoticons so I have to assume that it was straight-faced serious! You may, possibly, have missed your vocation in product endorsement or perhaps you really do feel that to be a high-point encouragement to vote for him!
The world is a gey strange place!

No, Boris isn't ideal, but with the alternatives being an anti-business, terrorist-loving, anti-semitic fantasist or a woman so far out of her depth even her own party despair of her, then to ME it's the only way to go.
I'm sure you don't like it.

Jack I suggest you get back to your tin mine or lobster pots.

I would also say it has no place in UK politics and question why it has such a special place in the hearts of Labour supporters and those on the left?
The other parties manage to keep it out and don't hand out flags at the party conference. Why not Labour?

If one is advocating the destruction of Israel, and that the Jews shouldn't be allowed self-determination, than I would say that's pretty anti-Semitic.
if one supports a two state solution, ie one doesn't need to be against Israel to support a palestinian state, then that is not anti-Semitic.
'from the river to the sea.....' is the destruction of Israel.
Pakistan was created around the same time as Israel. Thousands have died in the continuing conflict and that conflict and border dispute continue today. But no one has ever advocated the destruction of Pakistan, no one has ever suggested that Pakistan be removed and replaced with a different country.
All IMHO

Perhaps one or two among us should read this:

After all, it's one article written by 'a Jewish person' so overrides all of the above.

Our dog informs me she is thinking of acting as the agent on behalf of all those dogs who were forced to attend, and be photographed, outside polling stations, in atrocious weather and who were clearly being exploited for political gain.

OK - how much hot air has been exhausted from Server Farms holding all the election trash in the world and how much greenhouse gas has been chucked out from the millions of air conditioners needed to cool them.
