Surely it is irrelevant that this was in Scotland and involved Donald Trump or not. Imagine if it had been flying over Buckingham Palace during a major ceremony, or Windsor Castle during Royal Wedding (both I understand have no fly zones). There has to be some action taken re offender, and should have been stopped from getting that close. But the question is who was responsible for the Presidents safety?

The banner flown by said protester may also be accurate i.e. Trump below Par, as this president claims to play of 3 however nobody has yet seen a signed card. If you cheat yourself at a sport you profess to be good at, what else will you cheat at. As for the protest I thought it was well planned and thoughtfully done, and I do not normally agree with Greenpeace, but after this Presidents outbursts during this visit and his constant use of social media via Tweets I would say he is well below Par, if not in a Bunker to continue the golfing terminology.

He made his point, cheaply and very effectively but at great personal risk to himself. But without knowing and the guy I’d suggest he be rather glad at being publicly shot down (but preferably not dying in the process). The videos and media would have been priceless for the “anti” camp. And short of shooting everything down in the vicinity, there is little in the way of defence from devices like this. So maybe the powers that be should reconsider their usage of rules and law to stop such threats and think of something else because the “bad guys” don’t follow rules.
