US West Coast: Unidentified Aircraft Tracked by ATC
Recordings obtained from the FAA regarding an incident which occurred in October 2017

Unknown large aircraft in Oakland and Seattle Center's airspace, tracked by ATC and witnessed by several commercial crews.
Article contains extensive ATC coverage, and recordings of calls between controllers and PICs post incident.
Military scrambled but arrived too late to find the aircraft.
