I would argue that what he's doing is not "feeding and stoking" the rather paranoid US fear, but, instead, highlighting and exposing that paranoia.

Sunshine is a great disinfectant.

Of course not.

You do see the difference between, on the one hand, simply speaking Arabic, and, on the other, dropping a bag and running away?

Having worked in secure facilities, having had a colleague badly injured in a bomb attack (by a white guy, for whatever it's worth), and having my wife and son narrowly miss a backpack bomb attack, I'm pretty suspicious around unattended bags, anywhere.

He chose to act provocatively - and should be treated accordingly.
The guy may well be a jackass, but... when you have people saying that someone speaking in Arabic when they know English is 'deliberately provocative' .... that highlights a pretty significant problem, does it not?

I can't believe anyone is supporting this moron.

So far we've only heard his side of the story. A few hours ago Delta issued a statement saying that he was being disruptive and shouting. I've just seen a passenger interviewed who said that he kept standing up with his fist in the air for no reason, shouting in Arabic. After the third time of doing this, the passengers started getting fed up.

This guy specialises in trying to scare people and acting provocatively on aircraft. He also supported the Boston Bomber (his tweet has been removed but there are plenty of screenshots) and said that 9/11 was an inside job. His friend (the other person thrown off) has also posted a video of himself walking round the terminal building about an hour before the flight generally winding people up and acting like a colossal bell end.

Given the nervousness in Europe at the moment after yet another major terrorist Islamic atrocity, his behaviour is idiotic in the extreme.

Yes, this problem:

People keep getting killed - deliberately - and this moron wants to rile people up for shits and giggles.
I hope he gets banned by other carriers as well.
