It's a thing I've noticed too, Karearea ... the rarer an event is, the more likely it is that it will have been filmed by someone with a bad case of Parkinsons or someone who was falling-down drunk. The resulting (completely unwatchable) video will then be proudly displayed on YT when it should really have been consigned to digital oblivion by immediate deletion.

An I-phone does not a photographer make.
Used to be many bad photographers, now millions and millions..

After a few weeks of being stressed and uptight I am now starting to relax a tad. My wife has had
her major operation and has now started her, what will be slow, recovery. Thank goodness hospitals
now have Internet access as absolutely no visitors are allowed. I did have a slight chuckle yesterday
though as I had to take some pills to the hospital as they don't supply those actual ones. The reason
being that they are too expensive but hey I didn't mind in the least after what they have done for her.

Out for the shop and noticed the cherry blossoms are out, all of a sudden and all together as always.

Yes, a very quick and full recovery to Madame Nervous. Please let her know she is being thought of with plenty of positive vibes.

Day 9 with no pints, no friends and family. In that order. It's got so bad that I actually painted part of the sitting room ceiling...

Best wishes also to Mrs Nervous.

Thank you to those sending wishes, she has been told that the Doctors are splitting into 2 groups.
This meant that they would see her on Monday. She asked did they do home visits as she doesn't intend
to still be there then. She is trying very hard to be collected and brought home Friday

My best wishes to Mrs and Mr Nervous too, speedy recovery.

Did the monthly clean out of the inside of the pc tower today. Mrs H is knitting a small jumper with the fluff I extracted.

treadie, beer and friends can be obtained from other sources. Unfortunately family cannot.

How's Mrs Nervous coming along?
Today I ventured outside for the first time since self-isolation/lock down. I pressure washed the back yard. It needed it.

Monthly? Strewth, what do you do round your computer? Mine only gets a dust about once a year. A bit woolly, but nothing to get too perturbed about.

Shortage of loo roll?

Welcome back to society! Such as it is at the moment...

Again thank you for asking I am very pleased to say that it really looks like she will be back home
Friday late morning. She is very strong willed and determined to recover from her op as soon as
she could. She isn't the type who act "poor me" to get sympathy and extra attention. I won't bother
you good folks with details but we are awaiting results from the Pathology Lab for final piece of mind.
The only snag is that I will be back under "supervision" after a short period of freedom.

It's a pleasure to learn Mrs Nervous is on the road to recovery.....and appears to have a very similar character to the management . Our own concern relates to her cataract op as it's now becoming " a slight problem " but the last communication from the medics suggested she's in with a good chance of it going ahead. As this will be day surgery, any respite from "the list " will be short plus one will be chauffeuring there and back........

Online shopping is a wonderful thing. Log onto the supermarket site, order stuff and it gets delivered free of charge. Anything they don't have in stock they will substitute (if you wish) or leave out. With my last order I included a pack of 6 toilet rolls But they turned out to be out of stock (no surprises there!). What I got instead was a pack of 20 toilet rolls for the same price as the 6 I ordered. Bonus!!! (They don't charge extra if the substitution is a higher price than the ordered item.)

What sorcery is this? My chocolate biscuits have vanished leaving a few crumbs and an empty wrapper...

You are very lucky then Bluey as over here an Australian owned supermarket chain is charging NZ$14 to deliver orders
less than NZ$199.99 but "only" NZ$9 for orders over NZ200. However they do seem to have opened up a lot more slots
with priority for us old folks.

Even more boring bit.
My wife is now home from hospital, I have just done some ironing and although it isn't up to her high standard
it will have to do as the hospital has forbidden her to do any housework etc for several weeks.
