Got that thanks, Kelvin. The old familiar format that we all know and love! I wonder if we'll be condemned to using this new one for ever now. It's not very nice.

ANZAC day indeed, Karearea ... I went to a small local ceremony this year but it was still well attended. Given the numbers of people present, I can see that those who gave their lives in order to give us ours will never be forgotten. That's a good thing.

Change for changes sake, can’t see any improvement. In fact the new format looks less user friendly. No doubt we’ll get used to it.

ANZAC Day. I am reminded of the banner placed across the road in Changi Village to advertise the ANZAC Day BBQ at Selarang Barracks. It gave all the details of time and place etc. beneath which was the TAG Line "Everybody Welcome! Even Poms can come!"

Don't care about the format.
But it now operates in a jerky manner.

Clunky, slow, jerky, ugly, bloody horrible.

I thought the cat had sat on the keyboard again and messed everything up.

A friend of mine from Nottingham is off to Perth, WA today to see her son who moved there a few years ago. She hopes to call in to see my sister in Claremont, Perth before she leaves in a couple of weeks. Hope her weather is better than it is up here as it's decidedly damp & chilly even with that yellow orb trying to show its face through the clouds

You mean like these at the bottom of some pages?

Not sure, but they just stay like that for as long as you stay on that page. It looks like a stuck script, and I've flagged it on the thread that's on the computer/internet sub forum.

Site is stumbling somewhat on the new update.
See more ads.
See performance deterioration.
So far see zero improvement for users.

Software companies have employees they need to keep busy and so keep 'updating' their product. They usually call it improving but in most cases the users might argue about that.

One is humbly minded to ask whether the advent of vitreous flight decks was received in the same manner all those decades ago? Merely as humble SLC, you understand....progress? Discuss... or maybe not

Our short trip to the bank ended up taking an hour. Had to tell them how to do the various processes again. It did hail while we were there.

Morning folks.

Clear, bright, sunny and a bit windy. One encountered hail stones yesterday when I was visiting me canal.

I have decided I don't like this new format.

There should be a law against firms that employ people who do nothing but try to justify their existence by changing stuff for the sake of change.

Morning all. Lots of cloud about with the odd blue bit amongst it all.
Dry but patchy rain around locally. +6C.

The angiogram went well yesterday with no discomfort at all and there is none this morning either or
signs of any bruising. It would appear that my coronary blood vessels are all nice and clean and the only problem
I have is bicuspid atrial valve which I have probably had since birth. Chronic kidney failure has further caused
calcification of the valve to the point where it needs replacing to enable me to get on the kidney transplant list.
The surgeons have agreed to replace the atrial valve much earlier than it would normally need to be done.

Feet up and doing nothing today. Doctor's orders.

Nothing like those kinds of doctor's orders. Hope your recovery continues well.

Now now Mr Draper Sire - don't you have us all getting worried about you mister.
Or we'll organise a howling barking canine bash on your doorstep - with wheel chair ramps and all.

Lovely spring day here but it also means its jet washing season. Not fun when you have a trapped nerve in your arm. Hey ho. Vietnamese summer rolls for luncheon.
