Happy Anniversary Mr and Mrs 4mastacker for tomorrow.

Sorry this is late but you've probably all cottoned on to the fact that it's
FRIDAY already.

Oh that's a sigh of relief ... Captain's on the bridge! Good to see you back, FSL ... you just keep getting better and drop in when you can.

Oh no! Bluey I called you sir, apologies, but I did enjoy our recent pun fest.
No worries at all, hifly ... you will not be punished.

Welcome back Mr Draper.
Yesterday I read that police who were investigating a 50p coin thrown on the pitch at a recent Sunderland game have discovered it was in fact a takeover bid.

One better tidy my bunk in case the FSL decides to do a snap rounds. Welcome back Sir!

IG, Not me Yer Honour. I wouldn't mind betting that badgers might have something to do with it. We've got them along our canal and some of their setts are mahoosive where they have burrowed into the banks. We are not allowed to do anything about it cos they're protected.

Welcome back Herr Draper sir. Some of us were becoming somewhat concerned.

Summer's last hurrah here it seems. Initial forecast for Waikerie today was a 39C max! General consensus amongst the Waikerie Rifle Club members was...'39?? BS!'

According to the thermometer out the back of the Pinky household, it did eventually reach 38C.

Will be interesting to see just what the 'official' reading was...

Morning folks.

Snow blasting around the place at the moment. Bit like 39 years ago to the day when Mrs 4ma and I tied the knot. We had the 4 seasons at our wedding - not the group, the bloody weather!! Won't do that again in a hurry.

Off to me canal for some tree clearing, I must be mad!! That's what marriage does to you.

A friend was due to drive up from Nottingham over the weekend. She has just phoned to say that it's snowing hard and she will now be arriving on Friday evening. No snow up here but it's very cold.
Mrs R & I got married on the 29th in Hayfield, Derbyshire. It snowed and was bitterly cold.

We married on 27th March - there was snow on the way to the reception and snow in the IOM where we honeymooned (and also 4 years later when we went back at the same time of year).
