Bluey, we gardeners are like that - not quite Ooers of Babylon, but definitely a bit brazen!

Another chilly start to the day. guessers say it will be another nice one.

Good news from Mr D about putting the chest infection in it's place.
All the very best with the work outs Mr D and here's hoping that new leg
is in place before very much longer.

Well it's more fun that way isn't it, RbG? Are you a gardener too, Karearea?

I grew a lychee tree from seed a couple of years ago and I've decided to "shape" it into three "blobs". I did the initial pruning about three weeks ago and it's already taking shape as intended!

The bin men came on Monday, but the black bin men were late.

By 'black bin men' I mean the colour of the bin lid is black. I do not know the colour of the bin men's skin.

And by 'bin men' I mean 'bin personnel' as there are oestrogen-advantaged bin personnel here in Greenwich as well testosterone advantaged personnel.

I see we are back to garbage !

Reminds me - must sort out (separate) boxes of batteries and light bulbs to take to the amenity sight with the last fortnight's cardboard intake over the weekend.

... and have a sofa carcass to dispose of (frame went to bonfire night).

Looks like it will be a rubbish weekend !

Tranquility has returned to Chez 4ma after junior daughter reclaimed No 2 grandson.

Tonight, one has had bratties and Wobbly courtesy of the Sons of Morris; the bratties were enhanced by some curry ketchup purchased from a little shop just along the road.

Another day is dawning.
Got the aged mater home yesterday and she seems none the worse for her ordeal.
Very confused having been moved once again into different surroundings. Unfortunately
she's a wanderer and turned up in our bedroom 3 times during the night. 1, 4 and 6 o'clock.
Not subtle about it either as you wake up to the bedroom lights being switched on.
Hopefully she'll settle down again. Who needs the IF when you've got a resident mum.

All my garden is producing at the moment is fallen leaves. Loads of them.

By the way today is FRIDAY

There's been a culinary/traffic crisis in Cheshire this morning - according to BBC traffic news 'the A51 in Reaseheath was blocked by an incident involving two lorries and by aubergines on road'.

Well, it is Cheshire.
