Or watch the North Yorkshire Moors Railway at Grosmont via webcam

Both with sound too!

one's immune system knows all the bugs and germs that lurk at home
Interesting, never thought of it that way.

CAVOK and a cool 9C this morning.
Yesterday was a cracker with much getting done in the garden. It doesn't
look like today will be as good though.

Not much of October left.

Sat on Dunstable Downs yesterday with the long dog who was most confused at the dozen or so humans floating about above under very big umbrellas, distracted by sharing an ice cream with him.

Weather as above.

Even less of BST 2017 left now.

No chance of 30C and dips in the pool here today. 7C at present and might
make 14C if lucky. That said it's forecast to be a clear and sunny day- just
not pool weather.

Blood clinic today to have my arm drained again to check on my potassium
levels. Last month I relaxed the potassium sparing diet to see how much
beer and chocolate I could get away with. The answer is none, so back on
the restrictions and hopefully the levels will have returned to an acceptable
level.

I bring you good news though ..........

Today is FRIDAY

Morning folks.

Mrs 4ma reported that it felt "a bit brrrr shiver chilly"this morning, after she had collected the wheely bin from where the binmen had dumped it after emptying.

One is still generally confined to barracks (i.e no canal stuff) with the hurty back, more physio next week and then horsepital the following week.

Is it Friday already?? Where has the week gone??

At a meeting this week the details for the Remembrance parade were outlined - I couldn't believe it was that time of year again.

Dry and some cloud about but a pleasant enough day forecast, 7C.

I had an enjoyable afternoon after the Blood Clinic yesterday just wandering
Derby with a couple of friends and popping into the odd watering hole.
Believe you me Derby has some odd watering holes.

That's it !. BST has been confined back in it's box until March 25th 2018.
It was good while it lasted.

Re Pedestrian Street Traffic in London

At least the vehicles are moving at a decent speed. Not much difference to today in terms of numbers of people on foot - at least at busy commuter stations, but all rather more chaotic. And the number of hat makers that are now out of work!

I noticed the hats too, Andrew ... both men and women wearing them. Some of the women were actually showing their ankles though, the forward little hussies!
