Watch out for radar speed traps, Mr D, they can be sneaky you know.

Must be a dream come true for you, Captain Draper! A walking stick or crutch to brandish about will greatly enhance the shouting performance ... and enable you to do those difficult sideswipes.

Welcome home.

I said the same earlier, but it was swallowed by the wolf of the world wide web.

The ramp has been lowered for your embarkation FSL.
At your discretion of course.

I have visions of you astride your mighty chariot scattering the Mk IV Doris (pl) outside the Post Office .

We'll get a sword stick for you to brandish, Mr D. You'll get people's undivided attention with one of those.

Even the Mk IVs..... imagine the squawking and indignation!

There used to be a local character that I sometimes saw in the nearby town who carried a formidable shillelagh - to my mind it constituted an illegal weapon.

Top of the morning to you all.
Breakfast partaken of and I now await the water utilities person
who is coming to look at installing a water meter. He/she/it is
due to arrive between 0800 and 1200.

Dull at present and chilly (8C) and forecast is a mix of sunny
periods and rain.

Morning folks.

A bit on the 'not warm' side this morning. SWMBO has turned the central heating on so I'm sitting here in shorts and 't' shirt.

Found a suitable accessory for the FSL's go-kart. A bit of practice hollering "Geroot the way" and he's all set.

As a welcome back present to the fsl, is there any way the mods can re-instate his missing avatar?

I'm assuming it went walkabouts due to the shenanigans at that well-known photo sharing site, that seems to have caused a lot of internet mayhem, but it would be nice to see the "Piggy Press" back in it's rightful place.

Morning folks.

Yes indeedy!! 'Tis FRIDAY once more and one is 200 quid lighter after having to replace a tyre ('tire' for those on t'other side of pond) on me car. Only done 8,000 miles but had a huge chunk of rubber missing from the inside wall. Mrs 4ma and I think the damage was done last Friday when plod diverted us off the main carriageway onto the verge because a trailer had become detached from the towing vehicle and had shed wreckage which was blocking the rest of the road - can't prove it though! Buggah!!

Bacon sarnie being had with a monster mug of tea before going to play on me canal.
