FSL, what are stents and where were they inserted? We need to know.

As for fish puns, they come round once in a whale.

This one's worth repeating. "Is a dolphin what?" Eva Braun answering the phone.

That IS good news, Captain Draper, sir. Not such good news is that I originally skimmed over the word and read it as "tigercolour" which prompted a mental image of a yellow and black striped captain of the ship. That would be a bit orcaward.

Good news indeed Mr D.
Any medication less is a cause for celebration.

The Sons of Morris now stock genuine German bratties. One will need to get some Wobbly* or Bitburger* and reminisce about the good old days of the Cold War.

*other German biers are acceptable.

Wx guessers saying it will snow here, again, tonight, or no.
Fed up with this winter. Not supposed to be like that here and is changing my mind about global warming, besides if India and China are building multitudes of coal fired power plants that use the cheapest and most inappropriate coal - what the hell is the point of carbon taxes.

Bring back the mild and partly damp!

meadowrun, after a very cold weather here as well, I come to the conclusion I don't particularly like cold because houses in this country are not particularly well to cope with cold unless the central heating is on for several hours per day.

And yes, it does annoy me to pay taxes against the "human induced" global warming. Even more when "climate change" conferences are held in nice places like Bali, Rio and Kioto....

Done on purpose to remind delegates how awful the weather
would be all over the planet if they took no action. All that
nasty warmth and sunshine...

Of which we have none here at present.
Overcast and +7C. Strong winds forecast for this afternoon.

Let's be fair - we are all just jealous that we didn't jump on the bandwagon 25 years ago & make a fortune!

Jó napot, glorious sunshine again, spring is definitely here! City has just had it's spring clean, getting rid of all the grit & other winter associated detritus. Soon the fountains will be turned back on, hooray!

I bought a couple of tins of sardines and also mackerel.
The mackerel are smaller than the sardines.

Is it legal to catch such small mackerel?

Depends where they were caught. UK minimum size is 30 cms.

If the area was outside the North Sea, it's 20 cms.

If I was a little mackerel living out side the North Sea I would
move home to the North Sea pronto.

+6C with patchy rain knocking about. The forecast is for a rainy
old day today but at present the sun does shine upon us.

I've have just had a message pop up on my phone telling me that
Uranus and Mars will be paired close tonight.
Ooo errr Matron !

The digital radio has died.
Transformer emitting noise and no musical sounds; from le haut-parleur.
An internal perusal might reveal a broken wire.
More chance of finding a clean tea-spoon for milk winding.

Mine's still working but it's been set to Radio 4 for so long that I can't change channel or volume. It's in the kitchen and we only use it at breakfast so it's not a problem, but it would be nice to be able to turn it up or down sometimes.
