A "Tags" box has appeared at the bottom of the screen. Is this part of the update or has one pressed a button in error?

White sh!te coming down as forecast. Clever folk, those meteo chaps and chapesses. Stepping out of the shower and looking out, suddenly struck by realisation of utter luxury.
Never mind the wx out, its warm and dry inside. With hot running water on demand, stoves radiating warmth and a fridge and pantry full of food.
Just like most of the Syrians now stuck at the Macedonian border used to have.
It's a rum world.

Strange, I don't have any phantom pages

That apart, welcome back Lon.

...and things that go bump in the night

to correct a numberThe number of phantom pages is distinctly odd. Went into Jet Blast last night, after the update, and there were no phantom pages then. Now, though, we are back to 4 pages.

The other thing is the highest post number shown in the thread (after a 'next new' select) is 9,968. But if you look at the list of Jet Blast threads the number of posts for TRBATPSTXXV is 10,133 (plus, again presumably, a few more now). This difference being, one assumes, the phantoms.

Just 31 posts to go until 10k. Does this ship have watertight doors, one wonders.

No issues on the mobile site, apart from the garish colour.

Almost cloudless skies and 4C here near Edinburgh.

Maybe we should call them F-4 Phantom pages being an aviation forum. As a matter of fact I have come to like them and I would feel sorry if they disappear.

Not too sure, Dodger ... we always abandon ship at 10K and tend to be so absorbed investigating our new vessel we're not sure what happens.

Good morning all from a still sunless California west coast.
I have 5 phantom pages and still no Tony.
Will the next thread start without him?
Staying tuned.

Yayyyyyy!!!! The skipper is back on board! Everyone be nice and quiet now while he has his nap or I have a feeling there will be plank-walkings and even keel-haulings. Did we remember to polish the canon and scrub the deck?

Yes, but the canon wasn't too pleased as he was having a nap at the time. He suggested we polished the cannon instead -you know, those long metal tubes that point over the side and go BANG when you put a lighted match over the little hole at the back.

Still, it's better than bashing the bishop I suppose.

You can't recover in a ward full of heart patients. The racket is indescribable since most are in various states of morphia-induced euphoria. As the doc told me after the bypass, "You don't want to recover in a hospital, it's full of ill people."

He had a point.

Welcome back Herr D., despite what they say, you will be able to overdo it, the stent has improved you.

Probably a more practical suggestion ... but not nearly so much fun.
