Bury black pudding company donated 10 whole black pudding rolls
Thank your lucky stars it were their " black" version, Nigel. Their "white" ones are not the tastiest or even taste of anything much. Gone back to eating Monaghan's whites or one of the Scottish produced ones. Now they are good.

Even I struggle now. Appetite not what it was. If only I could cut back on the alcohol. Would be thin as a rake...well a stout shovel maybe!!

Surely, if you do not log in, you can read any thread?

Or can PPRuNe work out who you are, even if you are just a visitor?

A friend gave me a number of a roofer to ring to see about checking and possibly fixing my roof. Rang him about 10:00hrs, he arrived about 12:15hrs and the roof was made waterproof within the half hour - 1 broken tile, misplaced lead and a ridge tile sealed. All in all excellent service.

Que?

Why was a proven incompetent referee from just a week ago, not suspended and allowed to continue dispensing his lack of knowledge of the Laws of the Game? There were some very strange decisions today. PGOA again proving to be not fit for purpose.

Always the officials never the players!! Even Scholes is saying you played badly.

There are casualties on the ground.
Looks as if it crashed into a back garden. Pilot is alive and in hospital

has destroyed about eight inches of door frame leading into the kitchen

Probably driven mad by the heat.

My mate's Newfie refused to enter the house for about eight months of the year and spent the nights in an old concrete bunker.

If this heat gets any worse I might start chewing a door frame.

his lack of knowledge of the Laws of the Game
Any referee who makes it to the Football League (never mind the Premier League) will know the Laws of the game inside out and back to front.

However, some referees interpretation of the Laws of the game may leave something to be desired according to those who usually are heavily biased in favour of a particular team.

Don't forget, a referee has to make an instantaneous decision without the benefit of action replays and they are not helped by the play acting of some players and disgraceful conduct of the coaches on the touchline and their after match comments in TV interviews.

If any incident on the field of play can be interpreted in different ways then the Laws of the game need to be modified. Football needs to move towards Rugby Union where the decision of the referee is unquestionable be it right or wrong.

For your information TSR2,I was a fully qualified referee in some of the highest leagues for quite a few years. What The FA and PGOA have done to the art of refereeing is a disgrace.
I am not alone in the ranks of retired officials in having that opinion.

Second explosion at chemical plant in E. China. From video shown - just absolutely huge!
