Wimbledon 2015

So it's arrived.

The next two weeks will be the subject of much grunting & groaning (more so than in the old style professional wrestling), hissy fits, tantrums, tactical medical treatment breaks (i.e. cheating) and a winner taking home a reported 1.77m. And no Cliff Richard.

Anyone else planning to avoid it?

I'll watch it until all the Aussies bow out (2nd round ). Couldn't give a rats ae about the womens side of the draw, but I'd like to see if Fed still has it over Raffa and the Joka. Surely Andy M is past it now..?

In Post #1, I forgot to put in the blindingly obvious - middle aged men sat in their raincoats having a serious perving at the slow motion replays (womens rounds).

That's how women's purses bot boosted to about where the men's purses are now: sex appeal.

The grunting is an unfortunate side effect. Monica Seles, you have a lot to answer for.

Nadal, the new face of Tommy Hilfiger, but does he have time for tennis now?

Is Williams still allowed to play on the women's side just because he "self identifies" as a woman?

By anyone's measure, Serena is 'all woman'.

Even as a patriotic Aussie, I hope Tomic & Kygrios go out with barely a whimper in the 1st round! They're so bloody arrogant (although probably not all Tomic's fault with that "lovely" father of his). Kokkinakis seems a much less arrogant young guy & I hope he does well.

Having said all of the above, I hope Nadal can rediscover some of that form that won him a Wimbledon a few years back...

Unfortunately,Kygrios is through to the second round. Both he and Tomic are the epitomy of arrogance, rudeness and lack of sportsmanship
