In the Portland OR clash between Antifa & Proud Boys factions at the end of June, one Antifa member was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer, and two others (group identity unknown) for minor charges like harassment & interference. There were no "skull fractures" but some staples required.

In the NYC clash between Antifa & Proud Boys, two assault arrests were made, both Proud Boys members, their leader charged with four counts of assault.

The point is West Coast, one group isn't any better than the other, both represent the extremest of opposites in politics in the US. Do you want to continue to condemn only the one group? Or can you bring yourself to condemn both moronic groups?

So you were wrong. Credit given for admitting that.

Next time you catch a televised minute of a trump rally.....

All the attendees were hand picked.
The people behind him were even more hand picked.
The signs they hold were chosen for the cameras.
There is always a chant or two and that is choreographed and cued.
It is a micro-managed event, except for the trump blunders and stumbles.
But, everyone knows that, sort of.

Great!
So are you going to be man enough to answer my questions:
Do you want to continue to condemn only the one group? Or can you bring yourself to condemn both moronic groups?
Think it over and have a good evening....

The people behind him are always going to have been screened. WTF are Secret Service doing if that doesn't happen. This is exactly the same with ALL previous Presidents.

As for ALL the attendees being hand picked !!!!

Do you read any US News where people queue up hours before to get a ticket, why queue when you hand picked.

Quite right Turbine, extremism in any form is unacceptable, but currently El Douche in the Whitehouse only offers words of comfort and support for the Nazis, racists and bigots of the right wing, white supremacy movements. It's not really a surprise, with his every puppet string being played by Stephen Miller, Joseph Goebbels' more deranged long lost cousin. I find it very reassuring that Trump is finally in his comfort zone with overt racism, it must be a real comfort to the 38% of voters who have now seen him showing his legacy to right wing extremism.

Far from it TD, the person who drove the vehicle that killed the protester should be shot. No ands, ifs or butts.

And a good night to you as well as I swelter in the midwest heat and humidity.

Excellent, check out the screen

As Donald Trump addressed a rightwing crowd in Washington on Tuesday, the audience roared in support – but it was a doctored onscreen display that ultimately took center stage. At a student summit hosted by the conservative group Turning Point USA, the president stood before what looks, to the casual observer, very much like the US presidential seal. A thorough examination by the Washington Post, however, reveals some odd tweaks to the image.First, the eagle has not one but two heads – making it look a lot like Russia’s coat of arms. And instead of holding arrows, as the bird does in the US seal, it’s holding golf clubs. In other words, a proud presidential symbol was apparently reworked to shame Trump over two of the biggest targets of anti-Trump criticism – Russian involvement in the 2016 election and excessive golfing – and it was displayed behind the president for all to see.How this happened remains a mystery. The Post spoke with a White House representative who said officials hadn’t seen the image in advance. A spokesperson for Turning Point USA, meanwhile, told the paper he was stumped as to the origins of the image, characterizing it as “a last-minute A/V mistake”. “I can’t figure out who did it yet,” the spokesman said, adding that he didn’t know where the image had come from.Richard Painter, the chief White House ethics lawyer under George W Bush, said Trump aides should have kept a closer eye on things. “Someone is going to be getting in trouble,” he told the Post, “but they got one heck of a good laugh out of it.”

This crass generalization is an example of why foreign opinions developed via the telly and popularized by ignorance don’t count.

Not taking the high road, the American perception is that all Brits have bad teeth.

Eliminating the word "foreign" can now apply to Fox News Entertainment TV, The Sean Hannity Show, and those addicted to it, which includes Trump himself...

There do seem to be two contradictory philosophies at work.

A sitting president cannot be indicted. (Not sure what that seemingly arbitrary judicial mechanism that comes from)
No one is above the law, even the president.

One thing is sure - the Dems are not very good at street fighting.

meadowrun,
A sitting president cannot be indicted. (Not sure what that seemingly arbitrary judicial mechanism that comes from)
No one is above the law, even the president.
The position by the DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) that a sitting president cannot be indicted was first determined in a 1973 memo during the midst of the Watergate scandal, which soon thereafter led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon as he faced articles of impeachment.

So Trump and his legal staff, lead by Rudy G, are riding Nixon's coattails. Some of us know how that wound up.

Meantime, the Trump Senate supporters are not at all focused on 2020 election security as Trump's Senate lead minion, Mitch McConnell, thinks the Russian 2020 election interference is simply a Democrat ploy, although none of the US Intelligence agencies say that's true. It looks like the conservative Trump minions will put the 2020 elections at risk to put their idol back on the throne... Trump - "I'm not a crook, I'm totally exonerated of everything!"

"US President Donald Trump has demanded that Sweden "give ASAP Rocky his freedom" in a series of tweets.
Mr Trump raged on Twitter that Sweden had "let our African American community down".
(Seems he thinks the African-American community is one homogenous mass like a blob or a "base" and the Swedes have carved out a vital segment of it)

"Celebrities such as Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West have also called for ASAP's release. More than 500,000, including fellow artists Nicki Minaj and Post Malone, have signed an online petition calling for the rapper to be released on bail."
(Sweden does not have a "Bail" system. For the umpteenth time)

"The rapper's mother pleaded for the release of her son. Renee Black told Swedish newspaper Expressen that ASAP "isn't really eating properly." bbc
(Poor deprived baby. That damned non-nutritional Swedish food.)

Well hopefully the Swedes will stick to their procedures and keep this moron in the clink as prescribed by Swedish law.

Not sure why Trump went on about this, except that West is one of the few Hollywood types supporting Trump, so he probably thinks he owes him one.

Trump’s Anti-Semitisim

How can Bibi get away with supporting Trump who shouts “Evil Jews” in every interview or speech before he does his Mussolini impression? Seems odd such anti-semetism would be tolerated by the Israeli government.
