Year after year employers like us have to fight off efforts to:
— Expand state requirements for paid sick leave.
— Increase the highest minimum wage in the nation to $15 per hour and more.
— Require paid family and medical leave.
— Impose unworkable restrictions on workforce scheduling./QUOTE]
Paid sick leave
Pah! That's for pussies.

Workers get sick? Then let 'em lie in the gutter and die - in the rain.

Increase the minimum wage to $15
Pah! That's for pussies.

Real men don't pay wageslaves nearly that much. Let the slaves eat soot, not cake.

paid family and medical leave
Pah! That's for pussies.

The fecund workers will breed like rats anyway. Bollocks to their "family life". Pussies.

Impose unworkable restrictions on workforce scheduling
Work 'em 'till they drop, then replace 'em.

There is, however, a different way that the 0.01%ers can look at this thing. A more intelligent and a more enlightened way than the usual Nasty way:

Here's the whole article, Goodbye, Connecticut: It?s just too expensive here - Journal Inquirer: Other Commentary

Cazalet,

Nice try, but you do run out of other people's money, which is what is happening. The US allows for states to compete.

GF, did you actually listen to what Nick Hanauer actually said?

Do you really understand nothing? Nothing at all?

In what way do you believe he has/will run out of anyone's money?

And they narrowly avoided electing his wife.
I guess they didn't have much to choose from.

Oh right! There were a few hundred million people who could have been elected POTUS in 2016 so they chose a sexual molester.

I worry for SASless. I hope he's staying hydrated and taking his blood pressure meds. He's so giddy after this election I'm afraid he's going to pop his clogs.

Yes, I did read it. The "other people's money" I am referring to the fact the state of CT wants to spend the company's money on what the state feels are socially valuable things without paying for them. If "family leave", not sick leave, is good the state should tax and pay for it. If employees' production is worth $15 per hour any company will pay it. The minimum wage only drives out the marginally skilled from the workforce, as we are seeing here by the relocation to SC.

Employers can only afford so much and Connecticut is forcing out employers at a fierce rate. Hartford County alone has lost over $1 billion in taxable income during the Maloy era.

Hanauer made tons in the new economy of Amazon, not in the gritty competitive market of manufacturing. He's pretty much another guilty wuss who lucked out now feels bad about it.

There actually were John.

That said the election is over, foreigners are however free to continue to whine about the outcome.

Sorry Westie but this is about the character of leaders to be found at the UN and your elected will be worse than most there.

Just to refresh your memory:-
Otherwise, the concept of fruitful discussion with the majority of the members being dictatorships and abusers of women is a mystery to me.
Like that country where they just elected a self professed sexual molester as their president?

And, on what basis is that zircon of analysis based? Worse than Zima, Putin, Mugabe or just worse than your ideal?

Feel free to slaver over the UN if you wish, John. Doesn't change the reality that they accomplish nothing, while pretending to negotiate.

A perfect fit for NZ.

You still don't have anything objective to judge Trimp against other leaders other than what comes out of your, well you know.
