This is the best send-off to both candidates I've read to date. John Tamney is usually pretty clever on economics anyway.

Forbes Welcome

If you can't handle twitter....

Obama roasts Trump over reported Twitter timeout - Business Insider

It seems even the Trump's staff can't trust him. Little wonder the Commander in Chief uttered the following:

"In the last two days, they had so little confidence in his self control, they just said they're going to take away your Twitter. If somebody can't handle a Twitter account, they can't handle the nuclear codes," Obama said.
This is who SAS wants as President.

I read Tamney differently, GF: to me he is essentially saying "Trump has no coherent plans, so lets just leave our political class in control and let them battle it out".

That's how we got here. Apparently he is opposed to change.

You're correct, obgraham Tamney sees Trump as a buffoon who couldn't get anything, my belief as well. Trump's appeal to me is that he's tells the Versailles sur Potomac courtiers they have no clothes. His detraction is that he has no clothes, either. No coherent economic plan, no discernable philosophy, no experience outside of TrumpWorld. He'd be ineffective at actually affecting the needed changes in US government, both domestic and foreign policy.

The political class needs a bath and that requires a principled, dedicated person who has the team to affect change and the communication skills to make the public go over Congress to force it. Reagan was the only one who did just that in my lifetime.

The good news out of the weekend is the market's up almost 2 percent today--a Krieghoff shotgun order on Wednesday

No exaggeration there.

I had in the course of a few decades of DC news business stuff, the abliity to spend some time in the same room as candidate Mrs. C on more than one occasion.

After having to maintain a neutral face and expression in said room(s) throughout the professional on the record interview proceedings during the meetings, a neutrality required of news people in those days, I left the room each time feeling an extreme need to get to the nearest hot shower and scrub myself raw with a wire brush and lysol.

Was not alone in my response, as I realized after the fact when communing with other attendees.

Good luck you guys. 2 of the most unpopular candidates ever. I couldn't bring myself to vote for either of them. One is an oppotunistic, feminist, out of her depth liar and the other is a crazy, unrealistic, loose cannon, out of his depth autocrat who respects no one asides himself. I couldn't choose if you paid me. The world will wake up to a disaster either way.

It's the impact on those of us in the rest of the world that bugs me. US voters have a choice between two appallingly bad candidates, I doubt anyone is going to nay-say that, but from our perspective we could cope with crooked Hillary, whereas Trump is simply a loose cannon, someone who cannot even be trusted to manage his own [email protected] account in the closing hours.

Much as I detest Hillary, logically she is far and away the safest candidate for those of us outside the USA. God only knows what idiocy Trump would let loose on us; frankly the bloke scares me shitless.

Someone posted recently a YouTube documentary called The Four Horsemen.

It's an interesting and accurate summary of where the world is today and should be mandatory viewing for everyone.

Debt based consumption, fiat currency and fractional reserve banking will result in massive problems in the future.

The reason will not be discussed, most people will not understand cause and effect. Military force is already fighting on behalf of the banksters though of course under the disguise of fighting terrorism or homeland security.

People, for the most part, have the memory capacities and attention spans of Gnats.
Just throw something new or sort-of-new at them, repeat it a couple of times and the old stuff just dribbles out their ears.

It's a big day tomorrow. Since the landlord of my building finally evicted the racist, ignorant, mentally defective janitor, I took it on myself to handle the refuse requirements until he gets a new janitor sorted. The garbage, recycling and green bins have to be out for collection by 0700. It's unusual for them to be all on the same day.

Then I might look at some election results.
Garbage priorities.

320 million people and this was the best they could throw up as candidates as the Leader of the Free World ? Obama will be missed like him or not (and I'm no Democrat).

Photo of Clinton with her hands clasped in prayer prior to addressing voters in Pittsburgh.

Not sure that I would be happy entrusting half of the world's nuclear weapons to someone who believes in a non existant deity.

Better go with the godless capitalist who clearly believes in nothing except his own ego.

I suppose this would apply to whichever side of the fence you hope this comes down on.

Tomorrow we Americans will be Voting as if our right to live, to worship, to speak, to object, and to ever be heard again, that our right to be a free and independent American citizens, depends on this election, because it does.
Mrs. Clinton represents the culmination of socialist, fascist Progressivism. She has come to complete the transformation that Obama began, unless we stop her. We will probably not get another chance.

I wonder if Donald's team will get their money back from the F.B.I. Now that they have failed to find anything on Hillary's other computer ?
Be lucky
