I managed everything to serve with the roast chicken: apart from the stuffing.
Lady G says the stuffing; could go in tomorrows, right and left over curry.
Time to exercise my knee muscles.

Good morning all. Hot and clammy in Singapore. Class not going brilliantly due to him having been taught by our pet Japanese engineer. He obviously skips a lot! So having to point him in the right direction all the time. Very reluctant to read things out.

A very good morning.
A crispy, cold start to the day with lots of redness about at first light.
0C whether + or - I know not.

Discovered a stray lamb chop in the fridge so I've had that for breakfast.
Very nice it was too.

Morning peeps clear and cold again here, another Monday rolls around dont know anyone walking the Earth who is overly fond of Mondays.
Hmmm, long time since I had a lamb chop, one tends to go for the pork variety when the chop lust is upon me, specifically one liked lamb cutlets, not a lot of eating on em so one has to have at least four, very nice wi new potatos and peas of course.

A bald (grey?) squirrel that was spotted in Dunstable has been captured (on grounds that it might not survive the upcoming cold weather).

Although the squirrel is reported to be 'safe and alive', it is illegal to release grey squirrels into the wild, so either this creature will have to be looked-after for the rest of its life, or 'looked-after' such that it no longer survives.

Did nobody think this through?

Anyone noticed that people have started to say "nom nom" instead of "yum yum" when expressing approval of food?

When did that start and where did it come from?

I must be living a closeted life as life I'd not heard that expression.
No doubt I will soon.

This morning starts a full 8C warmer than yesterday which is very welcome.
From the radar it looks as if the front has passed us by so hopefully today
may not be too bad.

Has the "nom nom" thing evolved from Peter Sellers' "birdie num num" in the film The Party ?

Thanks Karearea and Drapes. On balance I'm going with the Pedigree advert as a possible source.
