Well read the entire post and it may be clear!
I'm sure you know what I meant. The 'mythical' character was born in December. You quoted a birth in July that was not part of the 'myth'.

Never mind!

Just reading that the U.S. State Department has issued a warning to the Fat Young un regarding an intercontinental missle test.

Maybe when Trump takes office he can show himself worthwhile by going mano a mano with this twerp.

Trump's proclamations heretofore about China, Israel, and his object of affection Vlad are just so formulaic and frankly boring. Let us see him engage with a situation that might be a little more exciting. Come on Spode! Take him on!

Atomwaffen: USA warnen Nordkorea vor Raketentest - SPIEGEL ONLINE - Nachrichten - Politik

Sorry about the link being in German. I will watch if it pops up in the Anglophone press.

Kim says he is going to test an intercontinental missle and Trumps says it will not happen.

We live in interesting times.

Although I cannot find much other sourcing, I see the German news is covering this again: Nordkorea: Donald Trump sieht in Atomprogramm keine Gefahr für die USA - SPIEGEL ONLINE

Trump says that it will not happen and then uses the occasion to riff, via Twiter of course, against China. I would not have guessed it to be, but this novel approach to statecraft will quickly bring the Chinese to heel.

All is well apparently. He has everything in hand and his legions of supporters, a great number on this board, are in full Seraphim mode singing Hosannas to him.

G-CPTN, your story might even be mostly true but what are you going to do about the situation in North Korea? Or would do if you had the resources?

It seems that there is disparity between the 'haves' in Pyongyang and the rest of the citizens of North Korea.
Communism should treat all its subjects equally, I believe - of course that would seem to lower the standards enjoyed by the favoured ones.

There is no doubt that NK spends lots on its weapons programmes - perhaps they should invest in improving the agricultural output (or is the problem that the producers can't be bothered to produce as much as they could?).

Whatever the causes, it seems that KJU has lost sight of what is important for his people, whilst cultivating his anger against the USA (who don't represent any real threat - apart from sanctions - which are within NK's ability to end these if they concentrated on internal betterment instead of striving to be a nuclear force).

What is wrong with my opinion?

What am I going to do? - it's not my problem - just as Zimbabwe isn't my problem either.

I cannot imagine that donating whatever resources might be available would have any effect on either situation.

If China is unwilling to solve the problem of NK, I cannot see that the 'West' would have any positive effect.
Are you suggesting that the 'West' is actively destroying NK?

Perhaps you could list what would be needed - then we could see who could provide those resources.

What I see is a basket case.

I am not suggesting the 'West' is destroying North Korea, not at all, rather the present policies of the 'West' are tending to prolong the status quo.

The USA is technically still at war with the DPRK and after 60 years is still unable to bring that to a close so little wonder that the 'enemy' is devoting so much of their resources towards a strong military especially as they have quite recently seen what happened to Saddam Hussein, Mullah Omar's government and Muammar Gaddafi.

Isn't it the United Nations that is technically still at war with NK?

As a member of the United Nations if the USA is still technically at war with North Korea then New Zealand is too.

...what are you going to do about the situation in North Korea
Set up a few WIFI relay stations and drop a few cases of cheap WIFI tablets around the country. (Include some cases with bottles of coke.)

There, problem sorted...

I'd estimate I spotted at least 6 people in that video who weren't clapping enthusiastically enough, and who were no doubt, immediately dragged away and executed, after being identified.

That doesn't even take into account those spotted without an obligatory poised pen with notebook, who deserved an even worse fate.

I'm also puzzled by the total lack of preparatory work to build mock American cities, that would normally be gleefully shown as being destroyed in the bombing and missile runs.
The Little Fat Wun must be made to improve his performance and his anti-American diatribes.
Sitting around in big red thrones watching an airshow of vintage Russian and Chinese aircraft, and smiling and gesturing, just won't cut it, in this day and age of dangerous, aggressive, proletariat, militaristic Western leaders.

I'm beginning to think that the World needs N.Korea as is.
Like it needs Rhodesia and Venezuela.

We need whacko, insane states to provide balance to the yin and yang of the zen of the world.

I do believe we have more than enough of those.
