A daily 300g?
Of what? Meat, eggs, rice, sawdust?
Sustenance intake is measured in calories.

Big leader is still portly. All praise to idiot below idiot haircut.

meadow, when I was on a high protein diet, 170-200 g per day of protein worked well. I agree with you that the information is ... oddly presented.

Looks as if the Norks have launched another short range missile or two.

Nor sure what they are testing. As reports are trickling in. The wheel spins yet again.

Just testing the drones in advance of food ration deliveries to the masses.

There is an old joke about two Generals meeting, one American and one Russian.

The Russian boasts, "Our soldiers are on a diet of 1,500 calories per day!"

The American replies, "That's nothing. Ours are getting 3,000 per day."

The Russian fires back with, "That's complete BS! Nobody can eat two sacks of potatoes per day!"

We are expected to believe that most North Koreans are on a balanced diet? Why do they look so puny, then?

This is one of those situations where the American President needs to bring a bit of focus onto the dire situation of the North Korean populace. Instead, he is "in love" with Kim Jong Un. They do have at least one thing in common: Both of them look as if they would fit into a group at Weight Watchers.

...and just as predictable as a clock striking mid-day, we have Trump tweeting that no worries are to be had because Kim Jong Un would never break his promises to him.

the American President needs to bring a bit of focus
to a great many things.

Like his plan, short, medium and long, What is the tangible goal beyond jingoistic slogans?
Lay it out - the plan, the steps, and explain it in intelligible words and sentences to all his people.
Or is he just a shifty crook, in way over his head and just winging it?

I am holding out hope for the lovebirds. The way they gaze at each other. The way food and drink holds no allure when they are together and the way the voices of others are muted to the background when, like songbirds, they strain to hear the dulcet tones of each others entreaties for affection and tenderness.

No, who are we to say it is not love? Certainly not us--the jjaded and cynical ones against whom time has worn away the sensitivities of the heart.

They are in the spring bloom of love indeed. One needs to look to the prose of the Bard, Byron, Racine, or Molliere to properly frame the ardour on display here.

Or...it could be that the Portly Un is still maneuvering in a way to exploit the patent weaknesses of Trump's strategy and tactics.

Not a betting man myself, but I would take the latter.

Have not followed up with the reports, but I noticed SK and others initially framed this as a projectile instead of a missile. Will take a look in the morning as to what the latest is.

Not sure if this is some sensationalists journalism, or the real deal. But it would not surprise me if true.
SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korea executed its nuclear envoy to the United States as part of a purge of officials who steered negotiations for a failed summit between leader Kim Jong Un and U.S. President Donald Trump, a South Korean newspaper said on Friday.

Kim Hyok Chol was executed in March at Mirim Airport in Pyongyang, along with four foreign ministry officials after they were charged with spying for the United States, the Chosun Ilbo reported, citing an unidentified source with knowledge of the situation.
"He was accused of spying for the United States for poorly reporting on the negotiations without properly grasping U.S. intentions," the source was quoted as saying.
There are consequences for failure, it seems.

(On the other hand, what if they were in fact doing as charged? Spying for the United States. Getting caught would tend to have severe penalty ..)

Trump and the Kimster are similar in some ways. When they don't like the advisor, he gets the boot pretty quickly.

However, in NK, when you get the heave-ho you don't get to write a tell-all book and get free air time on MSNBC and CNN.

What is the purpose of these tests

Donald and his team say no worries so ok, no worries then.

What is it though, that they seem to be testing and why? Other than Kim tells the POTUS that he stops military exercises with an allied nation or else even bigger missiles tests are on the way.

Is this the time when Donald starts to make a clean break with South Korea? He seems to siding with Kim on the idea of joint USSK military exercises as being discomfiting for the North.

You have to admire Donald's thinking. If he jettisons both SK and Japan he can save a buck! Such a deal!

N.Korea fires two projectiles into sea off eastern coast -...

North Korea now able to miniaturize nukes according to Japan

Well, we know they have been working diligently on such projects so I guess this is no real surprise.
