You have the right country.

It has never sold anything except learning.

Looks like South Australia stone construction.

If it had some wires attached, maybe an old signal station for morse code going to Asia?

Otherwise a police lockup.

It looks like a lockup and it has a chimney so somebody at some time lived there; teaching.

SMOKEON is correct.

Cossack started as a pearl fishing settlement and was quite large in it's day. It had a school, courthouse and general stores that have been preserved. The old police station is used as a backpackers hotel.

The technique of producing pearls by seeding oysters killed the pearl diving industry and as the place was not suitable for any other purpose it was abandoned.

Over to you.

I'll step in with this one.

The clue is there but not easy and very subtle.

A bit of googling. The Russian flag gave me a lead.

Easy one to keep the momentum up.

Yes. Well done.

Long Tom gun emplacement from the Boer War, located on the Long Tom Pass in Mpumulanga (formerly Eastern Transvaal).

A monument commemorating the last use of the Boer 155 mm Creusot Long Tom guns during the Second Boer War is located in the pass, about 21 kilometres (13 mi) from Sabie.
