If and when the op is performed, would Chelsea then be sent to a female prison?

You can be quite certain that the U.S. government is not going to fund his little rearrangement.

If I could reach him I would strangle him with my own bare hands... (let that be used in evidence)...

That is not the version of events I have seen discussed.

it sounded very much like a tragic mistake.....caused by bad comms....the Sun at Tillman's back....and a small unit extracting from an Ambush and mistaking gun flashes as bad guys when it was actually friendlies.....Tillman among them.

Was not Pat Tillman's brother, Kevin, not in the unit that was exiting the valley and was the group that fired on Tillman?

I would find it very hard to believe that Rangers would shoot one of their own....knowing his brother was in the same Platoon.

You have a definitive account on how Tillman came to be shot?

Yes I do SASless. And as you very well know, things are not often what they seem. Or reality is not what we've been told it is.

I've not come across a single 'fragging' report since 9/11, though my information may not be comprehensive.

Blue on blue incidents are tragic, but seem to be part of the package in today's warfare. It's even more painful in coalition warfare when one ally, usually the US, largely due to its generally being the bulk of the force, unintentionally kills members of a fellow ally. That creates friction and animosity, making the tragedy even worse.

How many years removed are you from military service?

Lady Gaga Devastated By Bradley Manning's Sentencing

This is a game changer, she'll surely get him sprung as a guest of the federal government.

Dak, you should become one of her groupies. You could help to fund a grass roots efforts to free him while taking in one of her concerts.

Although I am 23 years removed from military service I still remain good friends with old Army/Ranger buddies, I have relations currently serving in the military, my manager here at work is a Command Sergeant Major in the NY National Guard (formerly on active duty with the Army regulars) who did 3 tours in the 'Stan and 1 in Iraq, a good friend and work colleague here is a former Navy SEAL, and I have a cousin who is currently assigned to the 2nd Ranger Battalion, 75th Infantry Regiment.

So although I've been removed for awhile now from my military service, my hand has always and will always rest on its pulse as I try to stay connected in some way. (Aside from my fund-raising activities for the Wounded Warrior Project, my active memberships in the Association of the United States Army, the US Army Ranger Association, the National Infantry Association, the National 4th Infantry Division Association and the United States Field Artillery Association.)

I ask as sometimes the time removed allows us to think we're more connected. Second, third and fourth hand info is often in error. How's the saying go, the first casualty of war is....

I salute you for raising funds for wounded warriors. Money is always tight around the household as is time not devoted to kids sports, work, etc however I feel blessed to have what I do and feel its time to start giving back.

i get most of my information concerning military matters - specifically Army-related - from 1st hand sources. It has ever been so. One of the biggest regrets in my life, if not The Biggest, is not having stayed in for the 20, or more, I originally planned to. (Long story behind that.) But in lieu of not staying in I elected to stay well connected. Even now my manager the Command Sergeant Major has invited me along on some monthly New York National Guard field exercises. As an "interested observer" only, of course. I've gone on several such exercises and had a hell of a time "training" with various weapon systems. (Shhhh. I didn't write that!)

If you want to give anything to any worthy military-related organization then I would whole-heartedly recommend the Wounded Warrior Project. The Wounded Warrior Foundation, on the other hand, is also a worthy organization. But through research and asking questions I found that, dollar for dollar more money goes toward the recipient with the Project than with the Foundation i.e., the WWF has more overhead expenses. For whatever reason that is.
